    Abstract: Aspects relate to transmission of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) information. A user equipment may receive a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate carried by a control resource set that also carries a second PDCCH candidate, where these PDCCH candidates are associated with different aggregation levels. The user equipment may identify a PUCCH resource for transmission of information (e.g., an ACK or a NACK) that is associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission scheduled by the first PDCCH candidate. For example, the user equipment may identify the PUCCH resource based on a control channel element (CCE) index that corresponds to a starting CCE of the first PDCCH candidate and the second PDCCH candidate.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for indicating actual transport block size (TBS) on shaping encoding. For example, in shaping encoding, instead of using a compensated rate code (e.g., by padding or truncating) for a fixed number of output bits that is often different from the TBS scheduled, the present disclosure supports using multiple actual TBS for a given nominal TBS to improve efficiency of the shaping encoder. A transmitter (e.g., a network entity or use equipment (UE)) may encode a payload size of bits with a shaping encoder to obtain a transport block (TB), which has an actual TBS. The actual TBS is selected from a set of TBSs based on a nominal TBS. The transmitter then transmits to a receiver, an indication of the actual TBS. The indication enables the receiver to decode the corresponding encoded bits. The transmitter then transmits the TB to the receiver.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may acquire a triggering synchronization signal block (SSB), which enables the UE to monitor for a floating Type-2 physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and to determine a subset of paging occasions (POs) to monitor. Or, the UE may monitor for a fixed Type-2 PDCCH, where the UE does not require a triggering signal to monitors POs. In another aspect, the UE may monitor for a paging transmission during a monitoring period. The UE may determine the monitoring period based on received signaling. The UE may receive the signaling, during the monitoring period, indicating that the monitoring period is to be ended before a scheduled end of the monitoring period. In this way, the UE may support a continuity requirement associated with downlink reference signaling (DRS) and may support reception of paging in a shared channel.
