摘要: A user equipment (UE) may make a joint decision of adaptive receive diversity (ARD) and adaptive transmit diversity (ATD) configurations, including transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) antennas selection and/or blanking based on downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) traffic conditions. The UE may disable at least one Tx chain for a transmission of a codebook-based sounding reference signal (SRS) (SRS-CB) based on one or more of at least one DL traffic condition or at least one UL traffic condition, and transmit, to a base station, upon disabling the at least one Tx chain, the SRS-CB via an antenna associated with at least one active Tx chain.

摘要: Sequence selection techniques for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) are provided. A User Equipment (UE) sends a request to a base station, the request indicating that the UE is to conduct at least one uplink transmission. The UE receives, in response to the request, an indicator of an expected system load, a value of the indicator including a total number of sequences expected to be used at one time for uplink transmissions in the system. The UE detects that at least two different pairs of sequences in a configured set of sequences have different cross correlation values, the sequences in the set configured for scrambling uplink transmissions. The UE selects, in response to the detecting and based on the indicator, at least one sequence with an improved cross correlation with at least one other sequence the at least one sequence and the at least one other sequence to be used for scrambling uplink transmissions within the system.

摘要: A MEC relocation service automatically directs user equipment (UE) away from a “home” multi-access edge computing (MEC) cluster to a different MEC cluster when the home MEC cluster cannot support service while the UE is outside a regional area. A MEC cluster may receive an application service request for MEC services from a UE device outside a regional service area of the MEC cluster. The MEC cluster may determine if service level requirements for the application service request can be met by the MEC cluster. When the service level requirements cannot be met by the network device, the MEC cluster may submit, to a network device, a query for a different MEC cluster in another regional service area. The MEC cluster may establish a direct connection with the different MEC cluster to transfer customer data for the application service request.

摘要: The random access (RA) procedure in NR-U can be improved by enable the NR-U capable UE to choose a suitable BWP and uses this chosen BWP to perform the RA procedure. A suitable BWP is a BWP with a low probability for LBT failure, such as a BWP having a load that is less than a threshold load. For example, whenever the UE has a RA procedure triggered, the UE selects the most suitable BWP based on load information, such as load measurements made by the UE for one or more available BWPs or load information communicated to the UE. The selected BWP for the RA procedure may be different from the UE's currently active BWP, and, in this case, the UE may do a BWP switch before the RA procedure.
