    Abstract: A method for image decoding, according to the present document, may comprise the steps of: deriving an intra prediction mode of a chroma block as a cross-component linear model (CCLM) mode; updating the intra prediction mode of the chroma block on the basis of an intra prediction mode of a luma block corresponding to the chroma block; and determining an LFNST set including LFNST matrices on the basis of the updated intra prediction mode, wherein the updated intra prediction mode is derived as an intra prediction mode corresponding to a specific position in the luma block, and the specific position is set on the basis of a color format of the chroma block.

    Abstract: An image decoding method including obtaining a neural network post-filter (NNPF) group (NNPFG) characteristics supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message specifying information related to a group of two or more NNPFs to be applied to image data; determining a grouping type of the group of the two or more NNPFs based on the message; based on the grouping type indicating that only one of the group of the two or more NNPFs is to be selected to be applied, or that the group of the two or more NNPFs are to be applied in parallel, obtaining a value corresponding to a purpose of each of the group of the two or more NNPFs; and applying at least one of the group of the two or more NNPFs to the image data based the obtained value.

    Abstract: A video decoding method according to the present document comprises the steps of: deriving transform coefficients by performing de-quantization on the basis of quantized transform coefficients for a target block; deriving modified transform coefficients on the basis of an inverse reduced secondary transform (RST) of the transform coefficients; and generating a reconstructed picture on the basis of residual samples for the target block on the basis of an inverse primary transform of the modified transform coefficients, wherein an inverse RST using a transform kernel matrix is performed on transform coefficients of an upper-left 4×4 region of an 8×8 region of the target block, and modified transform coefficients of the upper-left 4×4 region, an upper-right 4×4 region, and a lower-left 4×4 region of the 8×8 region are derived through the inverse RST.
