Abstract: A calculating device includes a key input unit, a display and a processor. The processor performs: calculating a payment data item from input calculation data including numerical data items and operation data items; in the case where input of a first deposit data item and an instruction of a change function are received, controlling the display to display a calculation result data item obtained by subtracting the payment data item from the first deposit data item, as a first change data item; and in the state where the display displays the first change data item, even though the input calculation data are not re-input, if a second deposit data item and an instruction of the change function are received, controlling the display to display a calculation result data item obtained by subtracting the payment data item from the second deposit data item, as a second change data item.

Abstract: When transferring waveform data from a waveform region in a high-capacity flash memory to a waveform buffer in a RAM, first, whether a non-ring buffer region that can receive the waveform data can be allocated in the RAM is determined, and if so, the waveform data is transferred to the allocated non-ring buffer region. If such a non-ring buffer region cannot be allocated, then whether a ring buffer region that can receive the waveform data can be allocated in the RAM is determined, and if so, the waveform data is transferred to the ring-buffer region in a ring buffer operational manner.

Abstract: A nail printer includes a print head, a placement table, a fingerprint sensor, a memory, a placement table shifter and a processor. The fingerprint sensor acquires reference information including a reference fingerprint image and reference positional information on a position of the reference fingerprint image in the placement table from an object placed at a reference position which is a position suitable for printing on a nail of the object on the placement table with the print head. The processor compares positional information on a fingerprint image of the object currently placed on the placement table with the reference positional information preliminarily stored in the memory, and controls the placement table shifter to shift the object based on a result of the comparing such that the position of the object on the placement table substantially agrees with the reference position.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a memory, a display, and a processor. The processor obtains an instruction on a figure-related process. If a type of a figure indicated by the instruction is a type unable to be drawn with function data stored in the memory, the processor: sends relevant data to at least one server; receives, from the server, drawing data generated by the server executing, based on the relevant data, an arithmetic operation required for the figure-related process; and performs the process on the display in accordance with the drawing data. If the type is a type able to be drawn with the function data, the processor executes an arithmetic operation required for the figure-related process using the function data without requesting the server to execute the arithmetic operation, and performs the process on the display in accordance with drawing data generated as a result of the arithmetic operation.
