Abstract:
An eye-accommodation-aware head mounted visual assistant system and an imaging method thereof are disclosed. The eye-accommodation-aware head mounted visual assistant system comprises a beam splitter, a projecting light source, an image sensor, a calculating device, a controlling device, and an eyeglass frame. The projecting light source projects assistant information via beam splitter. The image sensor captures an eye image. The calculating device calculates an object distance and a viewing direction according to the eye image. The controlling device according to the object distance controls the projecting light source to adjust an image location of the assistant information, and controls the projecting light source to adjust a projecting light angle and an angle of the beam splitter according to the viewing direction. The eyeglass frame carries the projecting light source, the beam splitter, the image sensor, the calculating device and the controlling device.
Abstract:
A portable electronic apparatus and an interactive human face login method are disclosed. The portable electronic apparatus comprises a face database, a user interface, an image capturing device, and a recognition circuit. The face database stores a plurality of facial expression feature information. The user interface randomly generates a plurality of facial expression indications used for guiding a user to sequentially show a plurality of facial expressions. The image capturing device captures the facial expressions to output a plurality of facial expression images. The recognition circuit receives a login request and determines whether the facial expressions are consistent with the facial expression indications according to the facial expression feature information and the facial expression images. The login request is allowed if the facial expressions are consistent with the facial expression indications.

The pivot joint connects the body to the connector for switching a rotational angle between the body and the connector. The transmission element embedded in the body electrically connects the I/O ports to the connector. The pivot joint includes a first pivot plate and a second pivot plate pivoted to each other. A terminal of the first pivot plate is fixed to the body, and a terminal of the second pivot plate is fixed to the connector. An electronic device using the detachable handle is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A video stream transmission method is provided. The method has the following steps of: utilizing a video encoding apparatus to encode a plurality of first images to generate a video bitstream and transmit the video bitstream to the video decoding apparatus over a network; utilizing a video decoding apparatus to decode the video bitstream to generate a plurality of second images correspondingly; and when the video decoding apparatus detects that there is data loss of the video bitstream during transmission, utilizing the video decoding apparatus to reference a third image, which is the most recent completely decoded image of the plurality of second images, to perform subsequent video decoding processes and transmit a request signal to the video encoding apparatus, so that the video encoding apparatus references a fourth image, which corresponds to the third image, of the plurality of first images, to perform subsequent video encoding processes.
Abstract:
A licensing platform is provided. The licensing platform, in communication with a first license sharing device and a second license sharing device, includes a license database and a main license sharing device. The license database provides a plurality of licenses. The main license sharing device includes: a license allocation manager, in communication with the license database, for dynamically managing a usage status of the plurality of licenses; a next-tier membership manager, in communication with the license sharing devices, for allocating at least one of the plurality of licenses to the license sharing devices, and updating a license usage status of the license sharing devices; and a license record manager, in communication with the license allocation manager and the next-tier membership manager, for recording the usage status of the plurality of licenses.
Abstract:
A supporting structure includes a body, a first plate, a second plate, a first elastic assembly, and a second elastic assembly. The body has a groove used for accommodating a display panel. The first plate is disposed on a first side of the groove, and the second plate is disposed on a second side of the groove opposite to the first side. The first elastic assembly is pivotally connecting the first plate and the body, and the second elastic assembly is pivotally connecting the second plate and the body. The first elastic assembly and the second elastic assembly clamp the display panel when the display panel is inserted into the groove of the body. The first elastic assembly and the second elastic assembly together cover the groove when the display panel is detached from the body. An electronic device using the supporting structure is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A display panel device includes a panel, a stand, at least one stand hinge, and at least one foot mechanism. The stand hinge is disposed at a first side of the stand, and the stand hinge is pivotally connecting the panel to the stand. The foot mechanism is disposed at a second side of the stand opposite to the first side. The foot mechanism includes a foot and an elastically pivot assembly. The elastically pivot assembly is pivotally connecting the foot to the stand. When the panel display device is in an opened status, the panel and the stand form a first angle, and one side of the foot lies on a plane. When the panel display device is in a closed status, the stand covers the panel and the foot mechanism is placed within an opening of the panel.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a touch panel, which includes a first sensing substrate, a second sensing substrate and an anisotropic conducting film. The first sensing substrate includes at least one first sensing series, at least one first signal transmission line, and at least one second signal transmission line. The first sensing series extends in a first direction. The first signal transmission line is connected to the first sensing series. The second substrate faces the first substrate, and comprises at least one second sensing series extending in a second direction crossed with the first direction. The anisotropic conducting film is disposed between the first sensing substrate and the second sensing substrate, and is electrically connected to the second signal transmission line and the second sensing series.
Abstract:
In a display system, the invention provides a stereoscopic image format transformation method being used for transforming a non-interlace format of a stereoscopic image into an interlace format. When an aspect ratio of the stereoscopic image is not equal to an aspect ratio of a panel, the stereoscopic image format transformation method of the invention is used for interlacing a left-eye image data and a right-eye image data of the stereoscopic image according to a format of the stereoscopic image, the aspect ratio of the panel, and the aspect ratio of the stereoscopic image, to form a completely interlaced stereoscopic image.
