Abstract:
A humidifier pad assembly for a humidifier that is configured for adding humidity to an air stream of an HVAC system of a building or other structure. The humidifier pad assembly may include a frame for holding a replaceable humidifier pad within the housing of the humidifier. The frame may be structured to hold the replaceable humidifier pad within the housing such that a back major surface of the replaceable humidifier pad generally faces the back side of the housing, and a front opposing major surface of the humidifier pad generally faces the front side of the housing. The frame may further be structured to permit removal and replacement of the replaceable humidifier pad through the front side of the frame. In some cases, the housing may be configured such that the frame (and the replaceable humidifier pad) may be slid out of apertures in the right side and/or left side of the housing. In some instances, the humidifier may include a drain funnel structured to collect water from substantially the entire bottom side of the frame and direct the water to a water drain. The drain funnel may be structured to allow the frame to be slidably moved (e.g. in the left and/or right direction) relative to the drain funnel and removed from the housing through at least one of the left side or the right side of the housing. In some cases, a water distributor is releasably attachable to the frame along a top side of the frame.
Abstract:
A humidifier for an HVAC system includes a replaceable humidifier pad, and a housing for holding the replaceable humidifier pad in an operating position during operation of the humidifier. The back side of the housing may define an air flow aperture that is in fluid communication with the replaceable humidifier pad when the replaceable humidifier pad is in its operating position. In some instances, the right side of the housing may define a first aperture that is sufficient in size to remove the replaceable humidifier pad from the housing, and to install a new replaceable humidifier pad. Likewise, the left side of the housing may define a second aperture that is sufficient in size to remove the replaceable humidifier pad from the housing, and to install a new replaceable humidifier pad. The humidifier may also include a first cover member for covering the first aperture when the replaceable humidifier pad is in its operating position, and a second cover member for covering the second aperture when the replaceable humidifier pad is in its operating position. In some cases, an aperture and cover may also be provided on the front and/or top sides of the housing so that the replaceable humidifier pad may be replaced from the front and/or top sides of the housing.
Abstract:
A humidifier for adding humidity to an air stream of an HVAC system includes a housing configured to be mounted to a surface of an HVAC duct. The housing may be configured to hold a humidifier pad in an operating position. The housing may direct air through the humidifier pad from a first major surface to a second major surface of the pad. In the operating position, the first and second major surfaces of the humidifier pad may be substantially non-parallel with the surface of the HVAC duct when the housing is mounted to the surface of the HVAC duct. In some cases, this may provide a more compact design. In some cases, a centrifugal fan, rather than an axial fan, may be used to draw air into the humidifier from the HVAC duct. The use of a centrifugal fan may reduce the noise associated with the operation of the humidifier.
Abstract:
An advertisement image classification system trains a binary classifier to classify images as advertisement images or non-advertisement images and then uses the binary classifier to classify images of web pages as advertisement images or non-advertisement images. During a training phase, the classification system generates training data of feature vectors representing the images and labels indicating whether an image is an advertisement image or a non-advertisement image. The classification system trains a binary classifier to classify images using training data. During a classification phase, the classification system inputs a web page with an image and generates a feature vector for the image. The classification system then applies the trained binary classifier to the feature vector to generate a score indicating whether the image is an advertisement image or a non-advertisement image.
Abstract:
The embodiments provide compounds of the general Formulae I through general Formula VIII, as well as compositions, including pharmaceutical compositions, comprising a subject compound. The embodiments further provide treatment methods, including methods of treating a hepatitis C virus infection and methods of treating liver fibrosis, the methods generally involving administering to an individual in need thereof an effective amount of a subject compound or composition.
Abstract:
Compounds of Formula I are useful for inhibition of CHK1 and/or CHK2. Methods of using compounds of Formula I and stereoisomers and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, for in vitro, in situ, and in vivo diagnosis, prevention or treatment of such disorders in mammalian cells, or associated pathological conditions are disclosed.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for handling a recharge service and communication apparatuses thereof are disclosed according to embodiments of the present disclosure. The method for handling a recharge service includes receiving a recharge service request; checking whether an abnormal recharge log includes a recharge card ID and whether a recharging process has been successfully performed via a recharge card associated with the recharge card ID; requesting a voucher center to authenticate the recharge card associated with the recharge card ID so that the voucher center may recharge, after the recharge card passes the authentication, the user account via the recharge card if the recharge card ID carried in the recharge service request is not contained in the abnormal recharge log, or a recharging process has not been successfully performed via the recharge card associated with the recharge card ID carried in the recharge service request. The methods and systems for handling a recharge service and communication apparatuses thereof according to embodiments of the present disclosure may effectively prevent the situation that one recharge card is used for recharge repeatedly, and thus avoiding economic loss to the operator.
Abstract:
A duplicate image detection system generates an image table that maps hash codes of images to their corresponding images. The image table may group images according to their group identifiers generated from the most significant elements of the hash codes based on significance of the elements in representing an image. The image table thus segregates images by their group identifiers. To detect a duplicate image of a target image, the detection system generates a target hash code for the target image. The detection system then identifies the group of the target image based on the group identifier of the target hash code. After identifying the group identifier, the detection system searches the corresponding group table to identify hash codes that have values that are similar to the target hash code. The detection system then selects the images associated with those similar hash codes as being duplicates of the target image.
Abstract:
A dual cross-media relevance model (DCMRM) is used for automatic image annotation. In contrast to the traditional relevance models which calculate the joint probability of words and images over a training image database, the DCMRM model estimates the joint probability by calculating the expectation over words in a predefined lexicon. The DCMRM model may be advantageous because a predefined lexicon potentially has better behavior than a training image database. The DCMRM model also takes advantage of content-based techniques and image search techniques to define the word-to-image and word-to-word relations involved in image annotation. Both relations can be estimated by using image search techniques on the web data as well as available training data.
