摘要: This application relates to a building energy analysis and management system for measurement and verification of building performance. The system can analyze, optimize, manage, maintain, trouble shoot, and/or modify building systems, such as HVAC systems, in connection with the building energy usage. Measurements may be gathered for one or more HVAC units coupled to pressure independent valves, and sent to one or more Surge Panels that pass data to remote analysis servers, which can receive other system or external data. The analysis servers compare measurements to predicted values and can standardize the predicted values to account for external conditions. The comparison can result in difference values used to generate probable causes and optimization recommendations. The system outputs reports or other data display using a graphical user interface that can be adjusted for an anticipated user.

The received absolute humidity values AHV (AHV1, AHV2, . . . , AHVi, AHVn) are compared to a viral safety safe value to determine a viral safety assessment of one of safe and not safe. An action is performed when the viral safety assessment is not safe.

摘要: A load control system may include control devices for controlling electrical loads. The control devices may include load control devices, such as a lighting device for controlling an amount of power provided to a lighting load, and input devices, such as a remote control device configured to transmit digital messages comprising lighting control instructions for controlling the lighting load via the lighting device. The remote control device may communicate with the lighting device via an intermediary device, such as a hub device. The remote control device may detect a user interface event, such as a button press or a rotation of the remote control device. The remote control device or the hub device may determine whether to transmit digital messages to as unicast messages or multicast messages based on the type of user interface event detected.

摘要: This invention addresses the problem of Global Warming, expressed as the environmental condition of unintended and imperceptible levels of Vapor Pressure Deficit, (VPD) in Nursing Homes and Hospitals and Psychiatric Facilities. The invention teaches an art form which addresses Global Warming as expressed by Vapor Pressure deficit and resistance to medication. The invention identifies the ideal conditions for fungal and bacteria growth and in particular a new highly resistant fatal form of Candida Fungus, referred to as Candida auris (C. auris). Existing HVAC technology does not address this problem, since it is novel in that it identifies a unique interaction between Global Warming with the problem of resistances to medication and the neurological causes of Suicide. The invention is also novel and unobvious in that it teaches an art form indicating that certain levels of imperceptible VPD require continued HVAC, A/C dehumidification and temperature reduction even throughout tepid temperatures when such equipment may be turned off. As well as teaches an art form to alert medical staff and administration as to when these conditions are occurring and help plan treatments during periods of favorable ambient indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.

In an example embodiment, an airstream sensor device includes a housing and a plurality of sensors disposed on the housing. The plurality of sensors is configured to detect the temperature, airflow, and relative humidity of an airstream passing on, over, or through the device.

摘要: A testing platform tests an electrical and mechanical system such as an HVAC unit according to an algorithm that reduces the total testing time of the components of the system, while ensuring the safety of the system during system-wide testing. The platform uses constraints that are checked both before and during the testing to ensure that HVAC operating conditions are acceptable for starting and maintaining component tests. Preferably, the platform uses finite-state machines for each device to organize the component tests, allowing for monitoring of constraints and starting, pausing, and stopping component tests. Preferably, total test execution time is reduced by running component tests in parallel, running component tests based on loads of the components, or combinations of both.

Digital signage units include an electronic display and an air quality monitoring device located along an open loop pathway for ambient air. A monitoring subsystem receives air characteristic measurement data from the air quality monitoring devices of the digital signage units, which are installed at discrete locations within the geographic area, and subsequently generates a data summary of air characteristic measurements from the air characteristic measurement data from some or all of the digital signage units.
