    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described where a system bandwidth within a shared radio frequency spectrum band may be divided into multiple sub-bands. A base station may use a fallback downlink control information format to provide a resource grant to a user equipment, where the fallback downlink control information has a predetermined number of bits. To provide an indication of one or more of the sub-bands that are to be used for uplink communications when using fallback downlink control information, an explicit or implicit indication may be provided. Such sub-band indication may allow for the user equipment to use a particular sub-band that is available for transmissions in a shared radio frequency spectrum band. Indications of one or more sub-bands may be provided explicitly by a sub-band indication field in a fallback downlink control information, or implicitly by one or more downlink transmissions of a base station.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, on an access link from a base station, a first downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a first communication on a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) and a second DCI that schedules a second communication on the PSSCH. The first communication and the second communication may be scheduled according to a rule for overlapping or ordering communications on the PSSCH that are associated with one or more hybrid automatic repeat request identifiers. The UE may transmit the first communication and the second communication as scheduled. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to the amount of shared bandwidth to be used for channel occupancy time (COT) sharing. An initiator device may use a clear channel assessment procedure to gain access to wireless communication resources for a COT that will be shared between the initiator device and a responder device. In some examples, the responder device may determine the shared bandwidth based on information that is implicit in a transmission from the initiator device. For example, the responder device may determine the shared bandwidth based at least in part on a bandwidth of a transmission from the initiator device.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for indicating a time gap in case of a BWP switch are provided. A base station may transmit to a UE, and the UE may receive from the base station, an indication of a BWP switch from a first BWP to a second BWP. The UE and the base station may communicate with each other via a PDSCH or a PUSCH, in the second BWP based on a time gap. The time gap may be based on at least one of a first time parameter associated with the indication or a second time parameter associated with the BWP switch. The time gap may have a duration that is at least as long as a first duration of a BWP switch delay associated with switching from the first BWP to the second BWP.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for assigning one or more user equipments (UEs) at one or more corresponding starting positions of multiple slots to perform channel access procedures, such as listen before talk (LBT) procedures in New Radio unlicensed band (NR-U) sidelink communications. The network entity may indicate, to a UE, a starting position in a multi-opportunity grant (e.g., a DCI scheduling multiple slots). The network entity may multiplex different transmitter UEs with different starting positions. If the channel accessing procedure is successful, the transmitter UE with the earliest starting position than the rest may block the rest of the transmitter UEs. In some cases, starting position hopping may be used so that the multiple UEs may have different priority at different slots. In some cases, the DCI may include LBT parameters that are inherited from NR-U uplink transmission configurations.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure allow a base station to simultaneously send SSBs to a UE and to associate different ROs or designated subsets of preambles with the simultaneously transmitted SSBs. The base station may configure a time or frequency offset for different ROs, or a number of preamble cyclic shifts associated with the SSBs. The base station then simultaneously sends a plurality of SSBs to the UE, where each of the SSBs is associated with a different beam, and where each of the SSBs is associated with a different RO or a designated subset of preambles. After the UE simultaneously obtains the SSBs from the base station, the UE may determine the offset for one of the different ROs, or the number of preamble cyclic shifts associated with one of the SSBs. The UE may then send a preamble to the base station in response to the determination.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information identifying a plurality of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates that are to be monitored for downlink control information (DCI).
