    Abstract: Filter media includes a filtration substrate having a first side and a second side, and constructed for filtering a fluid by flow of the fluid therethrough. The filtration substrate has a a machine direction extending from a first end to a second end, and a cross direction extending from a first edge to a second edge. The filtration substrate includes a plurality of corrugations extending in the machine direction. The plurality of corrugations include a plurality of first crests formed along the first side and a plurality of second crests formed along the second side. The filtration substrate includes a plurality of bosses along the plurality of first crests or along the plurality of second crests and extending in a direction away from the other of the plurality of first crests or the plurality of second crests. Media packs, filter elements, and methods of making are provided.

    Abstract: The air filter systems described herein include one or more pulse collectors and pulse generators aligned along pulse axes. The pulse generators and filter elements may be arranged along a pulse distance as measured from a pulse outlet to a filter element opening. The pulse collectors and the filter elements may have openings with a relationship between them within parameters described herein. The pulse collectors may have a relationship between their hydraulic diameter and their length within parameters described herein. The pulse collectors may include a filter section and a pulse section that meet at a junction along a length of the pulse collector. The pulse sections may have a hydraulic diameter that increases when moving from the junction to the tube sheet opening of the pulse section.     Abstract: A multi-faceted family of non-woven webs that can take the form of a filter media, an adaptable forming process and a machine capable of making the range of media are disclosed. The filter medium can have a first surface and a second surface defining a thickness. The medium can comprise a region having a gradient. Such a gradient is formed by having a medium wherein the concentration of a fiber, a property or other component varies from one surface to the next surface. The gradient region of the media can comprise the entire thickness of the medium or can comprise a region that comprises a portion of the media thickness. The media are characterized by the presence of a continuous change of the fiber concentration or property within the region.

    Abstract: According to the present disclosure, features, components and techniques useable for providing air cleaner arrangements are provided. Many of the features relate to an axial seal arrangement provided on a filter cartridge. A typical filter cartridge, for use with these features, is a filter cartridge having opposite flow ends. Example media arrangements that fit this characterization are described. Seal arrangements provided with an axial housing sealing engagement surface are shown. A seal arrangement is provided. Also, air cleaner assemblies having advantageous features therein are provided. Further, air cleaner housings are described, with selected, preferred features for engagement with filter cartridges.
