Abstract: Aspects relate to cross-carrier scheduling in wireless communication. A scheduling entity generates scheduling information that schedules a plurality of data transmissions to or from a user equipment (UE) on a first carrier having a first numerology. The scheduling entity then transmits the scheduling information to the UE on a second carrier having a second numerology different than (e.g., less than) the first numerology. The scheduling information is transmitted using control resources allocated based on slot indexes of a plurality of slots configured for communicating the data transmissions on the first carrier.

Abstract: A first network entity for wireless communication may be configured to operate according to a connected DRX mode based on a wakeup signal (WUS), wherein the connected DRX mode includes a DRX active time and a DRX inactive time. The first network entity may send, to a second network entity, capability information of the first network entity to process, during the DRX inactive time, reference signal information, wherein the reference signal information includes one or more of: a reference signal or a reference signal report. The first network entity may receive, from the second network entity, a configuration based on the capability information, wherein the configuration specifies how the first network entity is to process the reference signal information during the DRX inactive time, and may process the reference signal information during the DRX inactive time in accordance with the configuration.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information that indicates whether to perform a first random access channel (RACH) procedure for a non-terrestrial network or a second RACH procedure for a terrestrial network, wherein the first RACH procedure is configured to support a larger number of UEs contemporaneously performing a RACH procedure than the second RACH procedure. Responsive to the information indicating that the UE is to perform the first RACH procedure, the UE may perform the first RACH procedure. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a paging early indication (PEI) indicating whether at least one UE in a UE group or a UE sub-group including the UE is to be paged in a paging occasion. In some aspects, a sequence on which the PEI is based is a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH)-based sequence. In some aspects, the PEI is a sequence-based PEI and is received based at least in part on a sequence configuration configured on the UE. In some aspects, the PEI is a sequence-based PEI and is received based at least in part on a distributed resource block allocation associated with the sequence. The UE may selectively process a paging PDCCH associated with the paging occasion based at least in part on the PEI. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) to determine and apply limits to physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) processing in a dual active protocol stack handover scenario. In one aspect, the UE utilizes a joint blind decode capability for both a source cell group and a target cell group to determine whether a total limit for PDCCH candidates to monitor or non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) to monitor is applicable. The UE may identify a per cell limit for each configured single transmit receive point (TRP) cell and each multiple TRP cell based on a sub-carrier spacing SCS of the cell and the determination. The UE may include an interface configured to obtain a PDCCH for a slot. The UE may perform blind decoding operations on CCEs up to the per cell monitoring limit for each cell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication that the UE is capable of supporting one or more channels of a first priority and one or more channels of a second priority, where the first priority is higher than the second. The UE may receive signaling indicating a search space set in a control-resource set (CORESET) that corresponds to grant candidates for scheduling the one or more channels of the first priority. The UE may determine a second search space set in the CORESET that corresponds to grant candidates for scheduling the one or more channels of the second priority. The UE may decode, within a search space of the first search space set, a grant for scheduling the one or more channels of the first priority.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for method for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first downlink control information scheduling a set of time and frequency resources to a set of downlink shared channel occasions. The UE may also receive, during a first downlink shared channel occasion of the set of downlink shared channel occasions, a second downlink control information indicating a first set of communication parameters specific to a downlink message associated with the first downlink shared channel occasion. The UE may then receive the downlink message during the first downlink shared channel occasion using the first set of communication parameters based on the second downlink control information.
