Abstract: An arrangement (1, 2) of a coupling (3) and a double-walled tube or hose (4). The double-walled tube or hose (4) includes two coaxially arranged sheaths (5, 6). The coupling (3) includes: a first, inner sleeve (14), surrounding an inner fluid conduit (7) for transfer of a first fluid, wherein the inner fluid conduit (7) is configured to fluidly connect with the fluid conduit (7) formed by the first, inner sheath (14) of the flexible tube or hose (4); a second sleeve (15), surrounding the first, inner sleeve (14); a third sleeve (16), surrounding the second sleeve (15); and a fourth, outer sleeve (17), surrounding the third sleeve (16). The first (14) and the second (15) sleeve form a receiving space (27) for receiving the first, inner sheath (5) of an end (13) of the double-walled flexible tube or hose (4); the third (16) and fourth (17) sleeve form a receiving space (28) for receiving an end (13) of a second, outer sheath (6) of the double-walled flexible tube or hose (4); and the second (15) and third (16) sleeve form an outer fluid conduit (23) for transfer of a second fluid, wherein the outer fluid conduit (23) is configured to fluidly connect with the fluid conduit formed by the clearance (8) between the first, inner (5) and the second, outer sheath (6) of the double-walled flexible tube or hose (4). The fluid connector part (19) of the inner fluid conduit (7) of the coupling (3) and the fluid connector part (25) of the outer fluid conduit (23) of the coupling (3) are displaced from each other in an axial direction of the coupling (3).

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a valve assembly including a valve moveable between an open position where hydraulic fluid flow is permitted between first and second ports of the valve and a closed position where hydraulic fluid flow is blocked between the first and second ports. A characteristic vibration is generated by turbulent hydraulic fluid flow within the valve when hydraulic fluid flow is first initiated between the first and second ports as the valve moves from the closed position toward the open position. The valve assembly also includes a controller for providing electrical current to control movement of the valve via a solenoid. The controller includes an accelerometer for sensing the characteristic vibration. The controller identifies an electrical current value of the electrical current at a time when the characteristic vibration is detected.

Abstract: A system and method for the controlled lowering and lifting of a load are disclosed. The system and method may include operating a work machine having a hydraulic system including a hydraulic actuator for supporting a load, a first control valve in fluid communication with the actuator, and a controller for operating the first control valve. In one embodiment, the controller includes a first algorithm for operating the first control valve in a load lowering operation. When an operational fault within the hydraulic system is detected, the controller can be configured to enter into a safe lowering mode. In the safe lowering mode, the first algorithm is disabled and a pulse width modulation (PWM) current is sent from the controller to the first control valve. A user interface is provided to allow an operator to control the PWM current duty ratio to allow the load supported by the actuator to be lowered.

Abstract: A hydraulic system includes a pump in communication with a fluid reservoir and powered by a motor. A pressure compensator is adapted to adjust a position of a variable displacement mechanism of the pump. A load sensing line is adapted to communicate a highest load sensing pressure from a plurality of valves to the pressure compensator. The pressure compensator adjusts the variable displacement mechanism of the pump based on the highest load sensing pressure for maintaining a constant pressure drop across one or more work ports in each of the plurality of valves. The plurality of valves each include a load sense port having an integrated check valve that includes a metering orifice.

Abstract: An improved quick release coupling is provided. The quick release coupling enables higher fluid flow rates and lower pressure drops. The quick release coupling is configured to be a connection and disconnection under high pressure conditions on one or both of the male and the female sides of the coupling. The quick release coupling enables intentional manual disconnection as well as breakaway disconnection under high working pressures.
