摘要: There is described a fluid flow measuring and control device for installation within plumbing. The device comprises a main flow channelling system having an inlet and an outlet for connection to the plumbing, and a bypass channelling system in parallel from the main flow channelling system. Using a microcontroller, the device can identify which appliance is used and determine consumption, or detect abnormal use or leaks and close the valve and/or notify a user mobile device.

摘要: There is described a fluid flow measuring and control device for installation within plumbing. The device comprises a main flow channelling system having an inlet and an outlet for connection to the plumbing, and a bypass channelling system in parallel from the main flow channelling system. A flowmeter is provided in the bypass channelling system for measuring the fluid flow in the bypass channelling system and thereby estimating the fluid flow at the inlet or at the outlet of the main flow channelling system. The flowmeter may comprise a wheel and a pair of movement sensors. A valve such as a solenoid valve can be provided as an on/off control for the plumbing. Using a microcontroller, the device can identify which appliance is used and determine consumption, or detect abnormal use or leaks and close the valve and/or notify a user mobile device.

摘要: The disclosed technology includes a non-powered valve assembly having a valve, an actuating system, and a trigger. The trigger can be in mechanical communication with the actuating system and the actuating system can be in mechanical communication with the valve. The trigger can be positioned such that the trigger can interact with liquid resulting from a leak in a plumbing assembly. Upon interaction with liquid, the trigger can dissolve or expand, causing the actuating system to be activated and the valve to transition from the open position to a closed position. In the closed position, the valve can restrict the passage of liquid through the plumbing assembly such that the leak can be mitigated.

摘要: A solar fail-safe device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is capable of operating a valve by using sunlight and operating the valve in an emergency in which electricity is not supplied to an actuator unit moving the valve. A solar fail-safe device may include a solar panel module producing electricity from solar energy, an actuator unit including an actuator moving a valve by using electricity as a power source, and a fail-safe part moving the valve by using emergency electricity with which the fail-safe part is pre-charged, and a control unit receiving the electricity produced from the solar panel module to charge a first and a second battery and to supply the electricity to the actuator unit. The actuator may move the valve by using the emergency electricity when a voltage at which the electricity is applied from the control unit is less than a predetermined value.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a self-sealing breakaway valve having a poppet-style design. The breakaway valve may be made from two body portions coupled together by one or more frangible fasteners in order to form a flow path through the breakaway valve. Each body portion may include a valve mechanism responsive to separation of the two body portions from each other to cause closure of the flow path in the respective body portion. The valve mechanisms may be releasably coupled together by a coupling key configured to restrict movement of each valve mechanism, so that the flow path within the breakaway valve remains open. Upon separation of the two body portions from each other, the coupling key may be released from the valve mechanisms allowing for closure of the flow path by the valve mechanisms thereby preventing fluid leakage from the breakaway valve.

摘要: There is provided a flow-blocking safety valve to prevent an explosion of a portable gas container, wherein, when the portable gas container overheats during use and the temperature rises above a predetermined level, a bridge hold supporting a pin of the safety valve melts and thus a pin or ball securely supported in the bridge holder becomes free to move to close a flow channel through which the gas flows, thereby blocking the gas discharge and preventing an accident occurring when the gas container bursts by overheating.
