    Abstract: A foldable walker apparatus includes a pair of spaced-apart inner frame members of two parts each hinged together, with a pair of link members diagonally extending therebetween. Each link has a bend extending upwardly and outwardly. The walker has support members that are arc-shaped with a seat extending between their apexes. A collapsible basket is provided with two end members each having a rigid peripheral portion connecting the frame members and a basket member of flexible fabric extending therebetween. A self-adjusting brake rod is provided with a gripping member spring-biased to remain free of the brake rod until the gripping member is operatively actuated to engage and thereby actuate the brake rod. A brake housing fully extends around a brake pad mechanism, including a means for connecting and adjusting the corresponding brake pad, to at least the outer periphery of one of the wheels for fully protecting the brake pad mechanism.

    Abstract: There is provided a wheel mounting assembly having a wheel fork. The fork includes an interior and an inwardly extending protrusion disposed within the interior. The assembly includes a rotatable member operatively connected to the fork and disposed within the interior of the fork. The protrusion abuts and positions in place the rotatable member. The assembly includes a shaft. The rotatable member rotatably connects the shaft to the wheel fork. The assembly includes a retaining member connected to the shaft. The retaining member is configured to abut the protrusion of the fork and thus inhibit dislodgement of the rotatable member from the fork when the shaft is tilted relative to the fork.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for generating a digital signature are provided. The method comprises:—polarizing a sampled data segment, for example a sampled audio segment, to produce a two-state signal having a bit sequence providing a binary representation of the sampled data segment, detecting an event in the signal, the event corresponding to occurrence of a predetermined pattern in the bit sequence of the signal, selecting, on the basis of a predetermined signature collection pattern specifying a plurality of offsets from the detected event, the values of the respective bits of the bit sequence at the bit positions specified by the offsets, and on the basis of those values providing a digital signature characteristic of the sampled data segment. Related systems are also provided.
