    摘要: An assembly for separating solid phase material from a slurry that comprises a pressurized filtration unit including a vessel and filter media. A slurry is fed to the filtration unit where it is separated into a solid phase material and a liquid phase material. The filtration unit has a solid outlet for discharging the solid phase material to a material transport. The material transport moves the solid phase material to a depressurizing chamber that has a lower pressure than the filtration unit. As the solid phase material enters the depressurizing chamber it is exposed to the lower pressure of that chamber. The material transport maintains the pressure difference between the filtration unit and the chamber. Subsequently, the depressurized solid phase material can be conveyed to other equipment for drying or other processing.

    摘要: A network infrastructure comprises a number of connective devices (routers, repeaters, bridges, etc.) to form a communication network for a plurality of end nodes. Message packets originating with an end node are assigned an input virtual network and workgroup identification at the port at which the packet enters the network. This assigned input virtual network and workgroup identification is compared, at each port from which the packet can exit the network infrastructure, with output virtual network and workgroup identification assigned the particular port. If the input virtual network information does not match the output virtual network information, the packet is prohibited from exiting that port. Even if there is a match between the input and output virtual network information, there must also be a match between at least one bit of the input workgroup identification and the output workgroup identification before the packet can exit the port.

    摘要: An apparatus for deploying an air bag through an automotive dash panel includes an air bag door integrally formed in the panel and defined by a door perimeter including a frangible edge of reduced cross section. A dispenser supports the air bag behind the door. A metal reaction plate is positioned between the air bag and the door. When the air bag inflates, it forces the reaction plate to bend around a horizontal hinge line. As the reaction plate pivots it concentrates inflation force along a lower portion of the frangible door edge. This helps to predictably separate the door from the dash panel by tearing along the lower door edge and allowing the tear to propagate up two side edges. In one embodiment, the tear also propagates across an upper edge to completely separate the door from the panel. At least one, and preferably two or three tethers limit how far the door can travel during air bag inflation. A stop member may be included to limit reaction plate bending. After deployment, the reaction plate remains in a position that prevents the door from returning to its original position. A retaining structure may be included to preclude at least a portion of the air bag door from tearing free of the vehicle panel. A hinge may be embedded in the panel in a position spanning a portion of the door perimeter. A hollow channel may be formed into the panel along the frangible marginal edge to create a substantial strength differential with the door perimeter to promote bending along the hinge and/or to help confine tearing to the frangible marginal edge during air bag deployment.

In addition, side plates integrally extend from opposite sides of the channel to connect to an air bag canister.

    摘要: The present invention provides a phase locked loop (PLL) clock generator for a digital system. The PLL clock generator is capable of an instantaneous transition between a high frequency and a low frequency, corresponding to an active mode and a slow mode, and vice versa The PLL clock generator includes a phase locking circuit, a frequency changer coupled to the output of the phase locking circuit, and a frequency controller coupled to the frequency changer. The frequency changer is capable of instantaneously changing the frequency of a first clock signal received from the phase locking circuit. The frequency controller is responsive to a control signal which is used to transition the PLL clock generator from an active mode to a slow mode and vice versa In one embodiment, the phase locking circuit generates the first clock signal in response to a reference clock signal and a feedback clock signal. The frequency changer includes a first divider for generating a global clock signal in response to the first clock signal, and a second divider for generating a peripheral clock signal and a feedback signal in response to the global clock signal The frequency controller, responsive to the control signal is used to change the divisors of the first and second dividers simultaneously, thus instantaneously transitioning the PLL circuit between the active mode and slow mode.

An antenna may be provided in each of the gate members so that the interrogation field generated thereby swings with the gate member. The gate also preferably includes a motive member for swinging the gate members between an open position allowing the passage of animals therebetween and a closed position which both inhibits the passage of animals into the parlor and indexes the last animal into a proper position.

    摘要: The invention is an improved apparatus for damping a wide range of oscillatory or wave motions in a plate, beam, shell or skin. The apparatus includes linearly-extending triangular hinged flexures in the form of spaced apart V-shaped spacer elements with the V substantially normal to the surface of the damped member, each flexure having two substantially rigid legs and a hinge flexure and a body portion adjacent the vertex of the V. An elongated substantially extensionally stiff constraining member is positioned in an offset, substantially parallel relationship to the surface of the damped member. A damping layer of a energy-dissipating viscoelastic material (VEM) connects the body portions of the hinged flexures to the constraining member. One or more of the spacer elements may have a lever attached to its body portion, the lever amplifying motion induced in its flexure toward the distal end of the lever. Multiple laterally-offset assemblies of spacer elements having motion amplifying levers, constraining members and VEM can be placed alongside one another in an offset parallel relationship with the levers being offset longitudinally and/or extending in opposite directions to dampen a wide range of short or long wave vibrations.
