    摘要: An assembly for separating solid phase material from a slurry that comprises a pressurized filtration unit including a vessel and filter media. A slurry is fed to the filtration unit where it is separated into a solid phase material and a liquid phase material. The filtration unit has a solid outlet for discharging the solid phase material to a material transport. The material transport moves the solid phase material to a depressurizing chamber that has a lower pressure than the filtration unit. As the solid phase material enters the depressurizing chamber it is exposed to the lower pressure of that chamber. The material transport maintains the pressure difference between the filtration unit and the chamber. Subsequently, the depressurized solid phase material can be conveyed to other equipment for drying or other processing.

    摘要: A highly pitting resistant duplex stainless steel alloy is provided which compromises in weight percentages: C: 0.10% and below; Si: 1.5% and below; Mn: 2.0% and below; Cr: 25.0% to 27.0%; Ni: 5.0% to 7.5%; Cu: 1.5% to 3.5%; N: 0.15% and below; Mo: 0.5% and below; and the remaining portion being substantially iron and unavoidable impurities. This alloy has greatly improved machinability when treated in the mold after casting by an accelerated heat treatment, as compared to the same alloy composition that is very slowly control cooled in a tightly closed heat treatment furnace.

    摘要: The synthetic capacities of endosperm tissue are harnessed, for the production of an exogenous polypeptide, via the transformation of a cereal or other monocotyledonous plant with a genetic construct comprised of a structural sequence encoding the polypeptide and, upstream therefrom with respect to the direction of transcription, a segment containing at least one regulatory element that effects or regulates expression of the structural sequence in endosperm tissue. Downstream of the structural sequence, the genetic construct also includes a segment that contains a terminal-processing signal for completion of the processing of nascent mRNA.
