    Abstract: An air cleaner system including a housing having a first housing end with an opening, a second housing end, and an inlet proximate the second housing end. The air cleaner system also includes a filter element removably installed within the housing through the opening, the filter element including filter media, a first endplate coupled to the filter media at a first filter end, an open second endplate coupled to the filter media at a second filter end, and an annular projection extending axially from the open second endplate, the annular projection sealing against the housing and creating an axial gap between the filter element and the housing.

    Abstract: Various example embodiments relate to a filtration system. The filtration system includes a filter housing having a first housing end and a second housing end. The filter housing includes a housing cover defining an outlet. The housing cover includes a first guidance element extending from an internal portion of the housing cover axially away from the outlet. A second guidance element extends from the internal portion of the housing cover axially away from the outlet. A filter element has a first filter end and a second filter end. The filter element includes an end cap adjacent the first filter end and defining an end cap opening therethrough. The end cap includes a channel around the end cap opening. Filter media has a first media end and a second media end. The filter media extends axially from the first media end toward the second media end.

    Abstract: A rotating crankcase ventilation filter element comprises a motor comprising a stator and a rotor, and shaft. A first end of the shaft is coupled to the rotor and is configured to rotate in response to rotation of the rotor. A hub is disposed circumferentially around the shaft and coupled to the shaft such that the hub is rotationally locked with respect to the shaft. A filter media is disposed around the hub and secured thereto such that the filter media is rotationally locked with respect to the hub. The filter media is structured for axial flow of a gas through the filter media. A first end cap is disposed on a filter media first end, and a second end cap is disposed on a filter media second end of the filter media. The second end cap is coupled to the first end cap such that the filter media and the hub is secured therebetween.
