Abstract:
A method for sorting menu options in a program menu of an electronic device creates an order parameter, a basic count parameter, and a carry count parameter to each menu option. The basic count parameters, the carry count parameters, and the order parameters are recalculated in response to a user-selected menu option, a user-added menu option, or a user-deleted menu option. The menu options are displayed according to the order parameters.
Abstract:
Digital content processing methods and systems are provided. First, an image property and a specific value corresponding to the image property are determined according to an image enhancement operation. Then, a specific region is sought within a first digital content, wherein pixels in the specific region have the specific value corresponding to the image property. Specific information is embedded in the specific region of the first digital content to generate a second digital content having the specific information. A digital content playback device performs the image enhancement operation on the second digital content to obtain the specific information.

A full-color scanning-type LED display is provided, including a scanning LED module, a projection screen and a structure frame. The scanning LED module further includes a red LED row having a plurality of red LEDs, a green LED row having a plurality of green LEDs, a blue LED row having a plurality of blue LEDs, a driver for driving the red, green, and blue LED rows, a plurality of metal conductive lines for connecting these elements of the scanning LED module, and a micro lens structure for focusing and projecting the light emitted from the red, green and blue LED rows. The driver further includes a driving IC and a serving motor. The projection screen is placed at an appropriate distance from scanning LED module, and both are engaged at the fixed distance by the structure frame.

A method of forming a composite silicon oxide layer over a semiconductor device. The composite silicon oxide layer is formed between the semiconductor device and a doped silicate glass layer. The composite silicon oxide layer comprises two silicon oxide layers, each having a different silicon/oxide composition. The oxygen-rich oxide layer or silicon dioxide layer is formed directly above the semiconductor device, and the silicon-rich oxide layer is formed above the silicon dioxide layer next to the doped silicate glass layer. Both the silicon dioxide layer and the silicon-rich oxide layer are formed in the same plasma deposition chamber.

An upgradeable/downgradeable computer system is made capable of being driven by more than one model of central processing units, including at least one socket means capable of being plugged with different model of central processing units, an identifying circuit capable of identifying the model of the central processing unit in the socket means and generating an identifying signal, a clock generator responsive to the identifying signal for generating a clock signal acceptable to the model of the central processing unit in the socket means, and a means responsive to the identifying signal for gating and inhibiting a plurality of input/output signals of the central processing unit in the socket means.

Fire escape apparatus comprising a tightly sealed shaft attached to a building wherein self-closing escape channels are provided to connect each floor of the building downwardly with the shaft, and a main exit is located at the bottom of the shaft with forced draft fan or natural up-draft opening being provided to maintain a higher pressure head in the shaft than that of the building to prevent fire from traveling through the escape channel and thus ensure safety pf the escaper.
