    Abstract: A plug connector includes an insulative housing and a plurality of spring contacts retained therein. The insulative housing has a front face, a first mating face protruding from the front face, a plurality of passages extending rearwards from the first mating face for receiving a respective spring contact therein and a locking member secured in the insulative housing. The locking member has a second mating face abutting against the first mating face, a locking arm projecting forwards from the second mating face, and a pad positioned on the second mating face beside the locking arm. The shape of the gap between the plug connector and receptacle connector can be changed by adjusting the thickness of the pad. Properly, the gap is shaped to be a rectangle, so that the spring contact is provided with sufficient normal force to obtain a stable connection.

    Abstract: A manually operated brushless DC motor is disclosed herein, which is an educational electric motor and can overcome the shortcoming hard to visualize the movement of a motor due to the high-speed rotation of the motor. The manually operated brushless DC motor according to the present invention provides two switches to replace the brushes used in a conventional motor. Users/learners have to alternatively press the switches to complete a closed circuit and drive the motor to rotate. Only when the rotor rotates in synchronism with the pressing rate of the switches, the rotor accelerates. Otherwise the rotation speed of the rotor decreases. The manually operated brushless DC motor provides the users/learners with the opportunity of viewing the rotor rotating in a slow motion, and the experience of manually operating the motor.

    Abstract: A dustproof receptacle connector includes a dielectric housing, a plurality of female contacts disposed in the housing, and a slider unit installed in the housing. The housing has a receiving cavity with a front opening defined in a front surface thereof, and a pair of mounting holes defined in a rear wall of the housing communicating with the receiving cavity.     Abstract: The present invention provides a module connector including a housing having four sidewalls that define a chamber for receiving a module therein. Each sidewall defines a plurality of contact recesses. A plurality of contacts is accommodated in the contact recesses and electrically contacts with the module. Pull-out prevention slices are positioned on periphery of the housing. Each pull-out prevention slice has a pressing portion which extends into the chamber and presses on the top of the module downwardly, and an actuating portion which extends upwardly from the pressing portion and is adapted for being manually pulled outward. When the module is needed to be pulled out from the module connector, by pulling the actuating portion outward, the pressing portion is driven to move outward and upwardly with the result that the pressing portion departs from the module to make way to the module for the module being pulled out. Therefore, no special tool is needed, in turn, the module is avoided being scraped.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a flexible printed circuit board connector including a housing, a sliding cover and a pair of support nails. A pair of guiding grooves and insertion holes is defined in sidewalls of the housing for receiving the support nails. A protruding portion is formed on each support nail to form a pivotal hole between the protruding portion and inner surfaces of the groove. The sliding cover has a pair of cam shafts rotatably supported in the pivotal holes. The cross section of each cam shaft has an utmost protrudent point which brushes past an inner surface of the pivotal hole when flipping the sliding cover. The length of the longest chord of the cross section that passes the utmost protrudent point is longer than the distance between the inner surface brushed by the utmost protrudent point and its opposite inner surface of the pivotal hole. To flip down the sliding cover, a considerable force is needed to overcome the interference between the utmost protrudent point and the inner surfaces of the pivotal hole. Therefore, the sliding cover is prevented from being accidentally turned over.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a runner system for a plastic injection mold through which molten plastic is injected into a mold cavity defined between two mold halves. The runner system includes two mold cores each of which has a slot, a clamping plate for clasping the two mold cores and combing the slots to define therebetween a runner, and a sprue extending through one of the mold halves and connecting an entrance of the runner. The clamping plate and the clasped two mold cores are embedded into the other mold half. The clamping plate defines a gate connecting an exit of the runner to said mold cavity.
