    Abstract: A toilet apparatus includes a toilet bowl with a seat, a reservoir for containing water for flushing the toilet bowl, and a water jet device including a conduit with an inlet, an outlet, and a nozzle at the outlet and located in the toilet bowl for generating a water jet to clean a user. A thermoelectric heat pump having a cold side in thermal communication with water in the reservoir extracts heat from the water in the reservoir and a hot side in thermal communication with a conduit section of the conduit supplies heat extracted from water in the reservoir and increases the temperature of water flowing through the conduit.

    Abstract: A touch control human-machine interface for use in controlling operation of a machine, said interface including: an interface housing; a cover plate disposed on an outer-surface of the housing, said cover plate having a first electrically-conductive portion configured for touch interaction by a user's finger; a circuit assembly disposed within the housing, said circuit assembly including a circuit board having a second electrically-conductive portion and a light illumination module operably-connected thereto; a spacer element disposed between and separating the first conductive portion from the second conductive portion such that the first conductive portion, the second conductive portion and the spacer element are configured to form a capacitor device that is operably-connected with the circuit assembly; said first electrically-conductive portion being configured for deformation by the user's finger so as to cause a change in capacitance across the capacitor device, and whereby responsive to said change in capacitance, the circuit assembly is configured for generating a control signal for controlling operation of the machine, and, for controlling the light illumination module to propagate a light emission from the circuit assembly through the housing and cover plate so as to be visible externally of the housing.

    Abstract: A trigger assembly for an electrical device that includes a main body having a housing within which an electrical switch unit is disposed. The trigger assembly may include a trigger member having an engagement portion that is hingedly connected to the main body so that the trigger member is rotatable about a hinge relative to the main body. The trigger assembly may include an actuator member operably-connected to the trigger member that is movable between an OFF position and an ON position. The trigger assembly may include a lock-off mechanism including a lock-off member that is selectively operable to restrict movement of the trigger member towards the main body and to thereby restrict movement of the actuator member from the OFF position into the ON position, and, to not restrict movement of the trigger member toward the main body.

    Abstract: A battery pack system for use in connecting a battery pack to a battery pack receiving member of a machine so that the battery pack is operable to supply a suitable amount of power to the machine for operation of the machine via an electrical circuit path that is configurable for electrically connecting the battery pack to the machine, the system including: a first electrical connector member disposed along a first region of the electrical circuit path; and a second electrical connector member; wherein, responsive to the battery pack being connected to the battery pack receiving member of the machine, the second electrical connector member is configured for movement relative to the first electrical connector member to cooperatively form a first configuration which electrically closes the electrical circuit path via which the suitable amount of power is able to be supplied from the battery pack to the machine; and wherein, responsive to the battery pack being disconnected from the battery pack receiving member of the machine, the second electrical connector member is configured for movement relative to the first electrical connector member to cooperatively form a second configuration which electrically opens the electrical circuit path via which the suitable amount of power is not able to be supplied from the battery pack to the machine.
