摘要: Techniques are provided for detecting a fault across a pair of lines. Pulse power is applied across the pair of lines. The pulse power comprises alternating pulse on-time intervals and pulse off-time intervals. During a pulse off-time interval, a resistor is connected across the pair of lines and then disconnected when a voltage across the pair of lines reaches a first droop percentage in a first period of time. After disconnecting the resistor, it is determined whether the voltage across the pair of lines droops at least a second droop percentage within a second period of time that begins after the first period of time. Occurrence of a line-to-line fault across the pair of lines is determined when the voltage across the pair of lines droops by at least the second droop percentage or more within the second period of time.

摘要: A power supply system to provide power to a load connected between first and second connectors. The system includes a generator that produces an alternating current generator output and a rectifier that receives the alternating current generator output and converts it into a direct current output and provides the direct current (DC) output between the first and second connectors. The system also includes a filter connected to the rectifier and between the connectors and that smooths the DC output. The filter includes a midpoint configured to be connected to ground. The system also includes a fault clearing source connected to the first connector that provides a clearing voltage to the first connector when a ground fault occurs on the first connector.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to in-line detection of electrical fails on integrated circuits. One embodiment is an apparatus including a device region with integrated circuits and a test region for in-line failure detection of the integrated circuits using an in-line voltage contrast test, the apparatus comprising: a substrate including a first area for the device region and a second different area for the test region; metal layers formed over both areas; wherein the integrated circuits are formed from first sections of the layers; and wherein a second section of an upper metal layer of the layers is segmented into test segments, each test segment to exhibit a predefined response during the in-line voltage contrast test depending on whether the test segment is shorted, or not, to the substrate and/or the second section of a gate layer of the layer. Other embodiments may be disclosed and/or claimed.

摘要: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a combination recorded signals indicating current, voltage, vibrational, and sound information associated with a test device, generating a training data set utilizing the signals, wherein the training data set is sent to a machine learning model, and in response to meeting a convergence threshold of the machine learning model, outputting a trained model that outputs a prediction using the recorded signals from the combination. The prediction indicates a predicted signal characteristic. The method also includes comparing the prediction and signal associated with the test device to identify a prediction error associated with the device, and outputting a prediction analysis indicating information associated with at least the prediction error. The prediction analysis includes information indicative of a relationship between the device and its signals.

The test includes determining an error with one of the measuring devices n through a deviation of the computed value of the associated scaling factor Sn from a value defined for the respective measuring device n.

The status indicator may be disposed around the handle. The control circuitry may detect a state of the electrical protection circuitry. The control circuitry may also transmit the control signal to the status indicator based on the state. The control signal may control one or more properties of the light emitted by the status indicator, and thus indicate to an operator the state of the electrical circuitry.
