    摘要: A three-dimensional printer head includes a drive motor, the drive motor including a drive shaft, a feed plate is affixed to the drive motor, and a feed hob is mounted to the drive shaft. The feed hob includes drive teeth configured to engage a filament. An idle assembly mounted to the feed plate configured to bias the filament against the drive teeth. The printer head further includes a z-axis plate assembly, wherein the z-axis plate assembly includes at least two flexures coupling a z-axis plate to the feed plate and a print nozzle mounted to the z-axis plate assembly. The printer head also includes a sensor coupled to the feed plate, wherein the sensor is configured to be triggered by the z-axis plate assembly when the z-axis plate assembly moves a given distance in a first direction.

    摘要: A nozzle assembly for a printer head of a 3D printer includes a guide held in a fixed position relative to the printer head and extending from a first end to a second end along a longitudinal axis. A drive mechanism extends from a feed end to a discharge end along the longitudinal axis. The feed end defines a feed opening for receiving a filament from a feed system, and the discharge end defines a discharge opening for discharging the filament from the nozzle assembly. The drive mechanism is movable relative to the guide, and the drive mechanism includes a drive surface for engaging the filament and causing the filament to move from the feed opening to the discharge opening, in response to the drive mechanism moving relative to the printer head. The nozzle assembly further includes a motor for moving the drive mechanism relative to the printer head.

    摘要: A three-dimensional printer includes an enclosure defining a chamber and a print surface disposed within the chamber. The printer further includes a nozzle displaceable relative to the print surface for melting and dispensing a filament on the print surface to form a dielectric part during a printing process. The printer further includes a filament drive system for supplying the filament to the nozzle, and one or more capacitance sensors coupled to the print surface. The printer further includes a controller electrically coupled to the capacitance sensors for measuring a capacitance, with the controller generating an error signal in response to the controller determining a change of capacitance when the dielectric part is displaced relative to the print surface during the printing process. The printer further includes a display device electrically coupled to the controller and displaying an error message in response to the display device receiving the error signal.
