    Abstract: Provided is a charger with a battery diagnosis function and a control method thereof. The charger with a battery diagnosis function includes a DC-DC converter configured to operate in a charging mode to charge a battery or to operate in a diagnosing mode to apply a perturbation voltage to the battery when the battery is fully charged, and a digital signal processor configured to calculate an equivalent circuit model parameter of the battery according to an output response of the battery with respect to the perturbation voltage, to calculate a charging/discharging frequency of the battery by using an ohmic resistance value among the equivalent circuit model parameter of the battery, and to calculate a residual equivalent capacity of the battery by using the charging/discharging frequency of the battery.

    Abstract: A system and method for processing network packets based on NFV for ensuring high availability are disclosed. The disclosed system may include: at least one server, where a multiple number of VNF's for performing particular service functions are formed in the at least one server, each of the VNF's including at least one VNF instance; and a control apparatus that sequentially selects an M number of VNF's and selects one VNF instance from each of the selected M number of VNF's to configure an SFC, where the control apparatus may calculate an availability cost ratio value associated with each of the at least one VNF instance within VNF i+1 with respect to a VNF instance selected from VNF i (i being an integer from 1 to M) and may select a VNF instance within the VNF i+1 corresponding to the maximum value among the availability cost ratio values.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a system for configuring a cluster of virtualization network functions (VNFs) includes an infrastructure driver configured to register virtualized infrastructure managers (VIMs) of multiple sites distributed across a network, a monitoring tool configured to collect monitoring information through the registered VIMs, a request queue configured to receive a clustering request message, a network functions virtualization (NFV) embedder configured to define a resource requirement necessary for cluster creation using the monitoring information according to the clustering request message, a policy manager configured to form a clustering template according to the resource requirement, and a clustering engine configured to transmit a request for configuring a cluster to the VIMs according to the clustering template.
