摘要: A camera includes a forwardly facing illuminatable visual member and a first group of laterally spaced parallel vertical light absorbent vanes extending from the face of the visual member to restrict the light rays directed therefrom to a predetermined horizontal angle which is a function of the intervane spacing and the depth of the vanes. The vane parameters are such that the predetermined angle is equal to the camera field angle or the range finder viewing angle or two groups of vanes may be provided corresponding to each of the camera and view finder field angles. A second group of vertically spaced horizontal vanes may be provided to limit the visibility of the visual member to one or more vertical angles. The first and second vane groups are perpendicular to each other and either intercept each other, from rectangular frames or are superimposed. A network is provided for varying the illumination of the visual member in response to the ambient light and another network is provided for illuminating the visual member in relation to the initiation of a self-timing cycle. Where two angles delineating vane groups are provided, the visual member is divided into corresponding differently illuminated sections.

摘要: A device for detecting the thickness of sheets comprising a seizing roller on a first shaft mounted for counterclockwise rotation and a feed roller on a second shaft mounted for clockwise rotation and having a diameter smaller than that of the first shaft. The seizing roller includes a peripheral portion having a peripheral length slightly longer than each of bank notes to be transferred and cooperating with the feed roller and a recess for receiving the forward end of each bank note. The forward end of the bank note received in the recess is engaged between the feed roller and the peripheral portion of the seizing roller during their rotation to pass the bank note between the rollers. There is a displacement detecting device for detecting the displacement of the smaller roller shaft occurring during the passage of the bank note between the rollers.

摘要: An oxide film 2 which is so modified as to hold hydrophobic groups 3 on its surface, and further to stabilize an anionic substance 6 among those hydrophobic groups, has an electroconductive polymer layer 7 formed thereupon. The method by which to adhere the hydrophobic groups 3 and anionic substance 6 onto the surface of the oxide film comprises exposing an element upon which the oxide film has been formed, to a steam of the hydrophobic group or to a solution containing the hydrophobic group, and then exposing the same element to a steam of the anionic substance or to a solution containing the anionic substance. This method allows a hydrophobic group and anionic substance to be applied thinly and evenly on the surface of an oxide film, regardless of the kind and nature of the hydrophobic group and anionic substance.

摘要: A three direction changeable device comprises first forks and second forks. The first forks are disposed to selectively obstruct the movement of bank notes in a first direction. The second forks are disposed to selectively obstruct the movement of bank notes in a second direction. Each first fork is associated with a second fork and is disposed adjacent thereto to define therebetween a path for bank notes in a third direction when the first forks and second forks obstruct the movement of the bank notes in the first and second directions, respectively.

摘要: An improved coin accumulator assembly is provided, which comprises a main accumulator tube adapted to receive and accumulate therein a pre-set number of coins and a subsidiary accumulator tube disposed upstream of the main accumulator tube and adapted to receive and accumulate temporarily the coins counted during the early stage of counting operation when the main accumulator tube is involved in the coin delivery operation and hence cannot receive any coins. The coins temporarily accumulated in the subsidiary accumulator tube are collectively passed to the main accumulator tube when the latter is released from the coin delivery operation and restored to its normal coin receiving condition. By the use of the coin accumulator assembly of the invention, the time period used for counting the coins included in one cycle operation of the coin wrapping machine can be increased to improve the efficiency or the coin feeding rate may be lowered to make it possible to control the coin counting operation more precisely and more reliably.
