Abstract:
A banknote storage device includes a housing member having a loading region in which a banknote is loaded; a storage which is disposed to be adjacent to the housing member and in which the banknote is stored; a temporary accumulation region provided between the loading region and the storage so as to temporarily accumulate the banknote to be stored in the storage; and a push-in mechanism that pushes the banknote loaded to the loading region, into the temporary accumulation region and that pushes a plurality of the banknotes accumulated in the temporary accumulation region, into the storage.
Abstract:
A core module for an Automated Transaction Machine (ATM) includes a housing including a plurality of cassette bays, a first document delivery system, and a second document delivery system. The first document delivery system is capable of transporting a document between the cassette and the second document delivery system via a first transport path. The second document delivery system is capable of transporting a document between the first document delivery system and an other ATM location via a second transport path.
Abstract:
An automated teller machine includes: a customer interface that receives operation relating to banknotes; a pay-in/pay-out port section that takes in banknotes from the outside and dispenses banknotes to the outside; a classification section that classifies the banknotes; a front conveyance section that conveys the banknotes between the pay-in/pay-out port section and the classification section; banknote storage boxes that are provided below the classification section, and that store normal banknotes determined to be normal by the classification section from out of the banknotes inserted into the pay-in/pay-out port section; a sorting conveyance section that is provided below the classification section, that sorts the normal banknotes into the banknote storage boxes according to denomination, and that retains a pay-in reject banknote determined to be unsuitable for pay-in by the classification section; and a rear conveyance section that conveys the banknotes between the classification section and the sorting conveyance section.
Abstract:
A banknote validator (2) comprising: a first banknote input/output aperture (3); a second banknote input/output aperture (4); a banknote transport path (5) interconnecting the first banknote input/output aperture (3) and the second banknote input/output aperture (14); an intermediate validation transport branch (11) disposed between the first and second banknote input/output apertures (3, 4); and a diverter mechanism (12) disposed proximal to an entrance to said intermediate validation transport branch (11); characterised in that the diverter mechanism (12) is moveable between: a first position in which the banknote transport path bypasses the intermediate validation transport branch (11) providing a direct passage between the first and second banknote input/output apertures (3, 4); and a second position in which the banknote transport path is indirect between the first banknote input/output aperture (3) and the second banknote input/output aperture (4) and is via the intermediate validation transport branch (11).
Abstract:
The present invention provides apparatus and a method for transporting at least one media item along a transport path, comprising locating a bunch of media items between at least one support surface and at least one clamp surface, and selectively moving said clamp surface towards or away from said support surface to apply a predetermined clamp force to the bunch of media items, wherein a predetermined angle of said clamp surface relative to said support surface is substantially constant when said clamp surface is moved towards or away from said support surface.
Abstract:
Tapes holding bills and wound round a drum are pressed against the drum by a winding roller, and the tapes are further pressed against the drum by a guide roller provided downstream of the winding roller in the tape winding direction of the drum. Thus, bills difficult to be curved along the outer circumferential surface of the drum, such as creased or wrinkled bills, can be curved along the outer circumferential surface of the drum, and the bills wound round the drum can be prevented from shifting or skewing.
Abstract:
A banknote storage unit comprising: a first tape reel banknote storage device; a second tape reel banknote storage device; and a drive transmission means pivotable between engagement with said first tape reel banknote storage device and engagement with said second tape reel banknote storage device.
Abstract:
A medium processing device includes a drum; plural inner tapes; plural outer tapes; differing regions formed on a starting end portion that is an end at a drum side of at least one of the plural inner tapes or the plural outer tapes, and on a terminal end portion that is an inner reel side or an outer reel side of all of the inner tapes or all of the outer tapes; plural detecting unites that detect the physical property at a tape position of one of the inner tape or the outer tape that has a differing region formed on the starting end portion or the terminal end portion, the tape position being located between the drum and the inner and the outer reels; and a control unit that controls a rotation of the drum based upon the detection results of the plural detecting units.
Abstract:
Provided is a financial device. The financial device comprises an upper module and a lower module disposed under the upper module. The upper module comprises a medium depositing and withdrawing unit through which media to be counted, media to be deposited, and media to be withdrawn are accepted and withdrawn and a discrimination unit connected to the medium depositing and withdrawing unit through a transfer path. The lower module comprises an additional function cassette and a medium storage unit which are capable of storing media.
Abstract:
