摘要： A consumer tote for a roll of wallpaper is disclosed. The tote has a disposable exterior with a main access flap and a pair of core access openings, one at each end. The tote has an interior in which may be located a disposable core. The core aligns with the access openings. In some embodiments there is a gap between the access flap and an adjacent edge of the exterior, when the flap is closed. In preferred embodiments, the core is supported at each end by a molding having a hub which engages the core.

摘要： A wallpaper printer includes a cabinet. The cabinet includes a touch screen interface which is positioned at a convenient height for a standing person. The cabinet defines a winding area. A pair of spindles is located in the winding area, and is configured to engage and rotate a winding core. A tape dispenser can dispense tape for attaching print media to the winding core. A printing means is located in the cabinet and is configured to print a wallpaper design upon print media being wound onto the core. A data capture device is tethered to the cabinet and is configured to read indicia so that the printer can thereafter print the wallpaper design corresponding to the indicia upon the print media.

摘要： A web printer is provided for printing web patterns on print media. The web printer includes a cabinet. A plurality of ink reservoirs is mounted, in a releasable manner, within the cabinet and store respective types of ink to be printed. A print media cartridge is mounted, in a releasable manner, within the cabinet and carries a wound length of print media. A platen extends away from the print media cartridge to support print media provided from the print media cartridge along a print media travel path. A stationary printhead is mounted within the cabinet to extend transverse to the print media. The printhead is configured to print a web pattern with the ink and upon print media provided from the platen. In use, the print media travel path from the print media cartridge to the printhead forms a substantially straight line.

The compartment has a top opening for receiving the media web fed from the printhead, the top opening being configured so that the media web is received as a suspended partial loop within the compartment. The printer also has a source of heated air located above the top opening for blowing heated air into the compartment through the top opening to dry printing on the suspended partial loop of the media web.

An area between the two halves, when they are closed, defines a media supply slot. The case has internally and adjacent to the slot, a pair of rollers. At least one of the rollers is a driven roller which is supported at each end, by the case, for rotation by an external motor.

The processor establishes a pattern or a configuration for the printer according to the data.
