摘要: A liquid ejection head includes a base plate and at least two device chips in which ejection ports for ejecting a liquid are formed and which are disposed on the base plate. At least one first reference mark is provided on the base plate. A second reference mark is provided on each of the device chips. At least one space is formed between adjacent device chips. The second reference marks and the first reference mark present in the space are disposed on an array axis along which the device chips are arrayed.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a printhead assembly comprising: a plurality of printhead modules (100a), including a first printhead module, a second printhead module and a third printhead module. Each of the plurality of printhead modules (100a) comprises: a plurality of printhead nozzles (126) each provided with an actuator (118) for selectively ejecting print agent therefrom; at least one print agent manifold (122, 124) providing a fluid communication pathway between at least one print agent inlet and the plurality of printhead nozzles (126); and control circuitry (104) to control the actuators (118) of the printhead module (100a) to eject print agent from the printhead nozzles (126). The first printhead module is mounted to the third printhead module via the second printhead module.

The head unit has a first overlapping portion wherein nozzle arrangement areas of first and second nozzle chips included in the nozzle chips partially overlap with each other in the first direction. The liquid jetting apparatus has a second overlapping portion wherein nozzle arrangement areas of third and fourth nozzle chips included in the head units partially overlap with each other in the first direction.

The cooling duct has an elongated closed hollow cross-section bounded on at least one side by a flat wall. The print head unit is attached to the flat wall outside of the cooling duct such that the print head unit is cooled by the gaseous medium passing through the cooling duct via thermal contact through the flat wall of the cooling duct.

摘要: In one example, a shroud to protect a group of printheads in a printhead assembly includes a body having a first notched end where an upstream part of the body extends past a downstream part of the body and a second notched end opposite the first end where a downstream part of the body extends past an upstream part of the body. A first group of openings in the body is aligned across the upstream part of the body and a second group of openings in the body is aligned across the downstream part of the body. Each opening is to surround an exposed part of a printhead when the shroud is installed on the printhead assembly.

In the ink chamber, the ink to be supplied to the nozzles is stored. The inkjet head is mounted on a mounting member. Between the nozzle substrate and the ink chamber, the inkjet head has a position reference substrate provided with butting parts. The butting parts are butted against the mounting member to position the inkjet head when the inkjet head is mounted on the mounting member.
