Abstract: Systems and Methods for monitoring characteristics of a water sample taken from a water facility (WF), by using a first light source emitting light at a first wavelength, and an additional light source, emitting light at an additional wavelength which is distinctly different from the first wavelength; for each light source, performing a measurement of the water sample, using an optical sensor outputting updated sensor data and a spectral detector, outputting updated detector data; and determining adjustment properties for adjustment of an analysis model, used for ongoing determination of water characteristics such as the water turbidity level, based on comparison between the measurements for each of the light sources.

Abstract: A pool related platform that may include (i) a drive mechanism for moving the pool related platform; (ii) a housing that has a first fluid opening and a second fluid opening; (iii) a filtering unit that comprises a filtering element; (iv) a fluid flow mechanism for inducing a flow of fluid through the filtering unit in a first direction during a filtering process, and for inducing a flow of the fluid through the filtering element at another direction during a backwash process; (v) an entrapment cell; and (vi) a flow control unit that comprises a flow control element and an inlet that is maintained open during the filtering process and the backwash process; wherein the flow control unit is configured to allow debris and fluid from the filtering unit to enter the entrapment cell, and is configured to substantially prevent a flow of fluid and debris from the entrapment cell to the filtering unit.

Abstract: A method for cleaning a region of a pool, the method may include moving a pool cleaning robot along a cleaning path that covers the region while acquiring, at first different points of time and by a sensing unit of the pool cleaning robot, first images of first scenes, at least one first scene at each first point of time; wherein the acquiring of the first images is executed while illuminating the first scenes by the pool cleaning robot; detecting, in at least one first image, illumination reflected or scattered as a result of the illuminating of the first scenes; removing from the at least one first image information about the illumination reflected or scattered; determining, based at least in part of on the first images, first locations of the pool cleaning robot; and wherein the moving is responsive to the first locations of the pool cleaning robot.

Abstract: A method for analyzing a fluid of a pool by a floating system. The method may include sensing, by a sensor of the floating system, at least one out of (a) a wind parameter related to a wind that impinges on the floating system and (b) a movement of the floating system; wherein the floating system further comprises a top portion comprises at least one float, a submerged portion that comprises comprises a fluid analysis instrument, a power source, a controller, and a propulsion unit; determining, by the controller, an impact of the wind on the floating system based on the at least one out of the wind parameter and the movement of the floating system; controlling, by the controller, a movement of the floating system based, at least in part, on the impact of the wind; and analyzing, by the fluid analysis instrument, at one or more analysis points, the fluid of the pool to provide one or more fluid analysis results.
