Abstract:
A collar for a vehicle sun visor includes a pair of collar halves attached on a shaft body. The collar halves each include a receiving groove, a first locking hole and a second locking hole, and a first flexible claw and a second flexible claw. When the pair of collar halves is assembled, the flexible claw of one of the collar halves is inserted into and engages with the locking hole in the other of the collar halves, and the locking holes and the flexible claws are provided pair-wise and arranged opposite one another with the receiving groove therebetween.
Abstract:
A spring assembly includes a substrate, an inner coil spring, and an outer coil spring arranged outside the inner coil spring. One of the inner coil spring and the outer coil spring includes an end turn portion, the end turn portion forming a support wall for an other of the inner coil spring and the outer coil spring.
Abstract:
In a mat fastener for preventing a mat disposed on a carpet provided on a vehicle body panel from moving, a first fixing member is fixed to the carpet. A second fixing member is fixed to the mat. An operational mounting member is arranged to mount the second fixing member to the first fixing member. The first fixing member includes a supporting portion arranged to support the operational mounting member, and an engaging portion arranged to hold the second fixing member. The second fixing member includes a locked portion arranged to be locked on the operational mounting member, and an engaged portion arranged to be engaged with the engaging portion in a state where the second fixing member is mounted to the first fixing member by the operational mounting member.
Abstract:
In this side lock apparatus, a opening and closing member is fixed to a support unit so that the opening and closing member can be opened and closed, left and right latches being movably held on the opening and closing member, each of the left and right latches being urged by a pressure of a spring means toward a lock hole formed in the support unit, a free end portion of each of the latches being moved back from the lock hole in the support member against the spring means by an operation of the operating handle, wherein the left and right latches are operatively connected together via a link lever supported rotatably via a shaft on the opening and closing member, the operating handle being provided with an operating portion engageable with the latch, at least one latch being provided with not smaller than two contact surfaces engageable with the operating portion of the operating handle.
Abstract:
A lid lock apparatus for a glove box is attached to inside of a lid to engage hook portions with the glove box. The lid lock apparatus includes a swing member a swing axis of which is rotatably supported by a lid of the glove box; a pair of lock arms, which are disposed in a symmetrical manner with respect to the swing axis, extend in a horizontal direction, and each includes the hook portion at a tip end thereof; and a subassembly member for bringing the lock arms close to each other and forming the lock arms and the swing member in a subassembly. The swing member is disposed in a symmetrical manner with respect to the swing axis and includes a pair of cam grooves extending with slanting. The lock arms include cam pins for engaging with the cam grooves to move the lock arms in opposite directions.
Abstract:
An approximately cylindrical housing is coupled to one pipe, and the other pipe having an annular protruding portion on an outer periphery at an end portion is inserted into the housing to be coupled. Inside the housing, are installed a stopper that is held at an initial position in close proximity to an opening portion of the housing and moves to a push-in position away from the opening portion of the housing when the other pipe is fully introduced inside, and a retainer having a locking piece that is inserted through an opening portion, formed in a top wall of the housing, in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the housing and engages with the annular protruding portion of the other pipe while the end portion of the other pipe is fully inserted. The retainer cannot be inserted unless the stopper moves to the push-in position.
Abstract:
A clip includes a grommet including a pair of expandable leg pieces, the grommet having a V-shape, a pin, which can relatively move inside the grommet, and a this connection portion integrally connecting the grommet and the pin. A through hole for guiding a top portion of the pin is defined at a tip of the V-shape of the grommet. The thin connection portion is located between an edge of the top portion of the pin and an edge of the through hole. The thin connection portion is cut when the pin is push into the inside of the grommet.
Abstract:
A non-return valve includes a main tube to be externally inserted into and joined to a fuel filling pipe, and a valve element to be provided on a downstream end of the main tube for allowing fuel to flow into a fuel tank and inhibiting a back flow out of the fuel tank. On an upstream side of the main tube, provided is a first inner tube including a first retaining portion relevant to the fuel filling pipe, an annular sealing member abutting on an inner periphery of the main tube and on an outer periphery of the fuel filling pipe, and a second inner pipe disposed more upstream than the first inner tube so as to sandwich the annular sealing member together with the first inner tube, the second inner tube including a second retaining portion relevant to the main tube.
Abstract:
An air damper consists of a tubular cylinder with opposite ends, a piston movable in the cylinder, a first coil spring for resiliently biasing the piston in the direction of one end of the cylinder, a string for transferring dampening effect produced by a motion of the piston to an openable object, a shaft with a flange slidably fitted into the piston and a second coil spring interposed between the flange of the shaft and the piston inside the first coil spring. The second coil spring exerts a resilient biasing force at later stages of the motion of the piston in the direction of the other end of the tubular cylinder.
Abstract:
There is provided a locking device including: a base member; a lock bar member; and a drive member. The base member includes a pair of facing surfaces sandwiching and supporting the lock bar member. The lock bar member includes a lock portion, a first bar portion extending in a sliding direction of the lock bar member, and a second bar portion extending in a direction intersecting the sliding direction and connecting the first bar portion and the lock portion. A first stepped portion is formed on the first bar portion, and a second stepped portion is formed on the second bar portion. Each of the facing surfaces is provided with step portions each of which faces the first stepped portion and the second stepped portion respectively in the direction intersecting the sliding direction at positions sandwiched between the first stepped portion and the second stepped portion.
