摘要: In the coil spring of the present invention, a helical space defined by a space between coils has a first end region whose space is increased as it extends towards the other side in the axial direction from a first reference point where the space is zero, a reference region whose space is set at a reference value L (L>0), and a second end region whose space becomes narrow as it extends toward the other side in the axial direction and zero at a second reference point. The first end region is configured such that the number of turns of the helical space is greater than 1 and the space between coils in a terminal position is greater than the reference value L. The helical space has a first transitional region between the terminal position of the first end region and the reference region, the first transitional region being configured so that the distance of space between coils is reduced from the terminal position of the first end region along the helical shape of the helical space toward the other side in the axial direction and becomes the reference value L.

摘要: A pulley structure may be equipped with an outer rotating body, an inner rotating body, and a coil spring provided between the outer rotating body and the inner rotating body. The coil spring is configured so as to undergo torsional deformation in a diameter-expanding or a diameter-contracting direction, thereby engaging the outer rotating body and the inner rotating body and transmitting torque, and to undergo torsional deformation in the direction opposite the direction in which torque is transmitted, thereby entering a disengaged state in which the coil spring slides with the outer rotating body or the inner rotating body, thus interrupting the transmission of torque. The number of windings of the coil spring is in a range between [M-0.125] and M (both inclusive), where M is a natural number.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a hollow spring member having a hollow steel spring rod having terminal sealed portions at both ends thereof. Each terminal sealed portion has a rotationally symmetric shape in which an axis passing through a center of the spring rod is an axis of symmetry. Each terminal sealed portion has an end wall portion including an end face; an arc-shaped smoothly curved surface between an outer peripheral surface of the spring rod and the end face, and a hermetically closed distal-end-center closure portion on the axis passing through the center of the spring rod. The method includes forming each of the end portions of the spring rod by forming a chamfered portion on an inner or outer peripheral side of the end portion of a hollow wire, the end portion having an opening portion at a distal end, heating the end portion of the hollow wire having the chamfered portion, and spinning the heated end portion to be gathered toward the axis from the outer peripheral side by a jig. The end wall portion, which includes the distal-end-center closure portion, is formed by the distal end of the end portion being joined together on the axis.

摘要: An actuator for opening and closing a door or a tailgate of a car contains a helical compression spring and a motor. The helical compression spring is provided for opening a door or the tailgate of a car when compressive forces of the helical compression spring are released. The motor is provided for compressing the helical compression spring in order to close the door or the tailgate of the car. The helical compression spring contains a helically coiled coated steel wire. The helically coiled coated steel wire contains a steel core and a metallic coating layer. The steel core contains a steel alloy. The steel alloy contains 0.8 to 0.95 wt % carbon, 0.2 to 0.9 wt % manganese; 0.1 to 1.4 wt % silicon; optionally one or more micro-alloying element. The microstructure of the steel core is drawn lamellar pearlite. The metallic coating layer contains at least 84% by mass of zinc.

摘要: A coil spring of this invention includes a first end coil part with a first bearing surface facing to the first side in the axial direction, a second end coil part with a second bearing surface facing to the second side in the axial direction and a central coil part connecting the first and second end coil parts. A displacement length in the axial direction from the outer end portion until the inner end portion of the first end coil part is a thickness of a spring wire forming the coil spring so that a space between the outer end portion of the first end coil part and an inner end portion of the central coil part is zero, and a displacement length in the axial direction between the outer end portion of the first end coil part and a point away along the circumferential direction from the outer end portion toward the inner end portion of the first end coil part by a half of turn around the axial line is less than a half of the thickness of the spring wire.
