    Abstract: A method of fabricating nano-silver fibers is provided. An organic solution of a dispersant is prepared. Then, a silver salt and a reductant are added into the organic solution. The organic solution is stirred to let the silver salt and the reductant react to form silver nanoparticles dispersed in the organic solution uniformly. Next, a spinnable polymer resin is dissolved in the organic solution to form a spinning solution. A wet spinning method is performed to let the spinning solution form nano-silver fibers.

    Abstract: A transparent ceramic structure and a method of surface treatment thereof are disclosed. A glass powder is applied over an unpolished surface of an intrinsically transparent ceramic structure. The ceramic structure is then placed in high temperature which is higher than the melting temperature of the glass powder and lower than 1,700 ° C. for about 1 minute to about 5 minutes.     Abstract: Adaptive local tone mapping may be used to convert a high dynamic range image to a low dynamic range image. Tone mapping may be performed on an on a Bayer domain image. A high dynamic range image may be filtered to produce a luminance signal. An illumination component of the luminance signal may be compressed. A reflectance component of the luminance signal may be sharpened. After the luminance signal has been processed, it may be used in producing an output image in the Bayer domain that has a lower dynamic range than the input image. The output Bayer domain image may be demosaiced to produce an RGB image. Tone-mapping may be performed with a tone-mapping processor.
