摘要: An SRAM memory cell device comprises wordline and bitline inputs for enabling read/write access to memory cell contents, and, a diffusion region for maintaining a voltage to preserve memory cell content when the cell is not being accessed. The device further comprises a transistor device having a gate input for receiving a wordline voltage to turn off the transistor device when not performing memory cell read/write access; and, a gate oxide layer formed under the transistor device gate exhibiting resistance property for leaking current therethrough when the wordline voltage is applied to the gate input and the transistor device is off. The diffusion region receives voltage derived from the wordline voltage applied to said gate input to enable retention of said memory cell content in the absence of applied bitline voltage to thereby reduce power consumption.

摘要: A quick-cook type convection cooking appliance includes an oven cavity in communication with an air channel assembly incorporating a radial byproduct trap and filter assembly defining a concentric ring-type baffle filter having two cylindrical sets of opposing air baffles. As recirculating air passes outwardly between deflectors of the baffle, the air is accelerated by a nozzle-type effect prior to impacting a center zone of an outer baffle deflector. This arrangement causes part of liquid and/or solid phases, such as grease, fats, and moisture, of the air flow to be deposited or trapped between the baffles. The air flow is then redirected back towards the inner baffle where, once again, the air impacts an inner baffle deflector that removes additional byproducts from the air. Finally, the air exits with a high uniform air flow pattern between respective deflectors of an outer baffle.

摘要: A method for determining the operational condition of a rotary machine is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of monitoring the machine under a baseline operating condition and collecting baseline vibrational data. A preselected number of baseline parameters are calculated from the baseline vibrational data. Next, a first baseline operational indicator is calculated from the baseline parameters, and the baseline parameters and the first baseline operational indicator are stored in a memory location. The machine is then monitored under a subsequent operating condition, and subsequent vibrational data is collected during the subsequent operating condition. A preselected number of subsequent operating parameters is calculated from the subsequent vibrational data, and a first subsequent operational indicator is calculated from the preselected number of subsequent operating parameters. Finally, the baseline data is compared to the subsequent operating data to determine the condition of the machine.

摘要: A support rail assembly (5) for a use on a motor vehicle is disclosed. The support rail assembly has at least one elongate rigid member (7) having a first bent end (8) and a spaced second, end (9). A first elongate flexible member (14) is fastened to the first bent end of the rigid member so that the first flexible member extends co-linear from the first bend end of the rigid member toward a mounting bracket 22 to which the first flexible member is fastened at its other end. A second elongate flexible member 18 is fastened to the second bent end of the rigid member and extends co-linearly from the second bent end of the rigid member and parallel to the first elongate flexible member, the second flexible member being connected at its other end to a second mounting bracket (23). A fastener hole (24) is defined within each mounting bracket through which a threaded fastener, or other fastener, may be passed for fastening the support rail assembly to the motor vehicle so that the support rail assembly can be used to support the hand or foot of a person climbing onto the motor vehicle.

摘要: Highly customized and targeted communications content may be pre-programmed or customized, configured, and delivered “on the fly” by an interactive media communication system comprising a network connected video screen and faucet combination. Individual and aggregated statistics about encounters with the content may be captured. Each unit in the network will also capture encounter-specific data to associate with each person and encounter such as dwell time in general, dwell time as a function of displayed media, environmental conditions, time of day, presence of other people, location of encounter, etc. In addition to targeted marketing, the interactive media communication system may be used to stimulate and motivate enhanced hygiene by introducing media elements and “gamification” into the hand washing ritual. Management can track employee and guest compliance with idealized hand washing activity.

摘要: A system, apparatus, and method for processing or correcting metadata used to characterize content such as images, video, books, or music, where that metadata may be provided by a community of users or other source. The metadata may be searched as part of a process of identifying and accessing content of interest to a user or of sharing content among users of a network. The metadata is typically a string or strings of characters that is submitted by a community, so that the accuracy of specific data cannot be guaranteed and consistent formats and unambiguous descriptions may not be used by all members of the community.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for cutting through a layer of material. Some embodiments pertain to the removal of an orthopedic cast in a manner that is quiet and generates little or no particulate matter. In yet other embodiments there are a pair of toothed wheels that press down and penetrate into the cast and then split the cast by moving it past a sharp edge. In some embodiments the cutting head is reversible for the cutting of material in either of two opposite directions.
