摘要: A simplified method of cooking salmon uses boiling water as it cools to cook the fish, includes the following steps: providing a frozen fillet of fish in a sealed bag; placing the bag in a container holding boiling water and simultaneously or immediately thereafter removing heat or an energy source; retaining the bag in the water for a period of time; removing the bag from the water; delaying removal of the fish from the bag for an additional period of time; then removing the fish from the bag for consumption. A kit includes the frozen fish fillet in the bag along with instructions to follow the method of cooking.

摘要: A container assembly for storing and dispensing viscous and other materials comprises a container body, a lid, a disc, an elongated threaded member, and a base structure. The elongated threaded member is connected to the disc and received by the base structure. Rotating the disc causes the base structure to ascend or descend within the container body such that the materials stored therein may be conveniently and efficiently dispensed. At least one scraper scrapes materials stored on the inner surface of the container body therefrom, thereby reducing wastage by retrieving otherwise difficult to dispense materials. A rotation limiter precludes rotation of the base structure while the disc is rotated, which rotation limiter may be a rail contacting the bottom of the container body or a friction fit between the base structure and the inner surface of the container body.

摘要: Push-on friction fit connectors for LED light strips form continuous flexible ribbon light strips. The low voltage light strips are cut at contacts periodically exposed along the strips. Ends of the strips with exposed contacts are pushed into receivers. Bent inward wires make frictionally connect contacts at ends of the strips. Wires extending through edges of the receivers are soldered to exposed contacts on printed circuit boards on which the spaced receivers are mounted. Circuits with contacts on the boards are connected to wires extending from the spaced receivers. Tops and sides of the receivers and bottom edges of the circuit board are protected by two-part outer covers. The covers are bonded or sonically welded to the receivers and the circuit board, leaving only outer ends of the receivers and their openings exposed.

摘要: Systems and methods for handling profiles in a community are provided. A profile hub-and-spoke arrangement may be provided which includes a profile representation associated with a user as the hub and one or more media asset representations as one or more spokes. The media asset representations that are included in the hub-and-spoke arrangement may match preferences of the user. As a cursor is positioned over various items of the hub-and-spoke arrangement, a window of information corresponding to the item may be provided. A selection of the item may be received and a new hub-and-spoke arrangement may be generated and displayed to correspond to the selected item. A similar media asset hub-and-spoke arrangement may be provided which includes a media asset representation as the hub and one or more community member representations as one or more spokes.

摘要: An apparatus for counting doses of a dispenser (12) is provided which includes a housing (14) for releasably attaching to the dispenser; and, a dose counter (30) operatively connected to the housing. The dose counter displays indicia relating to doses of the dispenser. The dose counter may be manually adjusted or configured to be automatically adjusted to permit counting of the number of times the housing is separated from the dispenser. The number of separations will indicate the number of doses administered by the dispenser. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a dose counter is provided which counts doses separately from the actuation of the dispenser/ With the dose counter being separate from the dispenser, the dose counter may be reused with a plurality of dispensers. As will be appreciated by those skilled in the art, the invention may apply to various dispensers, but is particularly well-suited for use with inhalers.

摘要: A self-timed memory array is disclosed, in which segmentability and metal-programmability are supported while minimizing layout space. Self-timing row decoder circuits are placed at the top and bottom of the array adjacent to respective I/O blocks. A self-timing signal is routed from the top (resp. bottom) of the array to a point halfway down (resp. up) the memory array and then back to a self-timing row decoder at the top (resp. bottom) of the array. The same approach may also be used to account for the bitline wire delay from the bottom (resp. top) of the array to the sense amplifiers in the I/O block. Further flexibility in wire routing is provided by eliminating metal routing layers from unneeded memory cells, and a programmable gate array may be used to allow an arbitrary word size to be chosen for the memory.
