摘要： A hinge for a notebook computer has an L-shaped first seat with a first opening and a second opening. A barrel is mounted on the first seat, and has a rib received in the first opening, and an ear received in the second opening. A pintle rotatably extends in the barrel and mounted on a second seat by a butt of the pintle inserted through a third opening of the second seat. The first seat is mounted on an LCD monitor of the notebook computer, and the second seat is mounted on a body of the notebook computer. The hinge has a simple structure and a low cost.

摘要： An elastic hinge for a notebook computer has an L-like seat secured on a body of the computer, with a hole of which a section is formed as a numeral “8”. A pintle has a first part extending through a barrel, and a second part extending through the hole of the seat. The barrel has two tubular portions for the pintle extending therethrough, and a plate extending from the tubular portions and secured on a monitor of the computer. A torsional spring is provided outside the second part. When a locking member of the computer is released, under the elastic force of the torsional spring, the pintle will be rotated to automatically raise the monitor about an angle of 30° relative to the body of the computer.

摘要： A hinge for a notebook computer includes a leaf to be fastened to a lid of the computer. The leaf has a pair of tubular portions formed at a bottom thereof, a wing extending from a first side thereof and a tenon projecting from an opposite second side thereof. A support piece is oriented perpendicularly to the leaf for additionally abutting the lid and is formed with a first through-hole aligned with the tubular portions and a mortise for receiving the tenon. A base is to be fastened to a main body of the computer. The base has an upright slab defining a second through-hole aligned with the first through-hole of the support piece. Furthermore, there is a pintle extending through the through-holes into the tubular portions so as to pivotally connect the leaf and the support piece with the base.

摘要： A hinge for a portable computer having a monitor with a pivotal end and a main frame with a pivotal end has a sleeve, a washer and a pivotal rod. The sleeve is mounted in the pivotal end of the main frame and has multiple cutouts. The cutouts are formed in the sleeve. The washer has two extensions. The extensions are formed on the washer and selectively engage the cutouts of the sleeve. The pivotal rod is mounted rotatably in the sleeve, is mounted securely in the washer and holds the washer between the pivotal rod and the sleeve. When the monitor pivots to open relative to the main frame of the portable computer, the extensions of the washer engage the cutouts of the sleeve to hold the monitor at a desired visual angle.

摘要： A pivot device has a pivot axle fastened on a cover of a lap top computer, a seat fastened on a chassis of the computer, and a first ring and a second ring respectively mounted around the pivot axle. The second ring and an elastic device are respectively mounted on the seat, and the second ring has two cutouts. Two lugs are respectively defined on the first ring and correspond to the cutouts. A nub is formed on an outer circumference of the first ring so that the nub presses against the elastic device. Hence, the cutouts are mated with the lugs by pushing so that the cover can be raised or lowered to the chassis and can be controlled to prevent colliding with the chassis.

Each of the friction pads has an aperture so defined that after the threaded portion of the shank extends through the apertures of the friction pads, the friction pads pivot together with the shank to generate holding force with the fixed bracket for holding the display in position.

摘要： A hinge for a notebook includes an L-shaped seat with a barrel. A pintle has a shaft extending in the barrel of the seat. A first tube, a sleeve and a second tube are in turn mounted on the shaft. The first tube and second tube are securely received in the barrel and each has a stop formed at a respective end facing the sleeve. The sleeve has two arcuate segments respectively formed at two ends and corresponding to the stops of the tubes. Thus, the sleeve can be rotated along with the shaft about the first and second tubes until one arcuate segment of the sleeve abuts the corresponding stop. Whereby, a user can raise the display with a small force to separate the display from the body and a large force to completely raise and position the display.

The hinge is composed of a first supporting member, a second supporting member, a seat, a vertical pin and a horizontal pintle. The first supporting member is mounted on the monitor and is rotatably mounted on the second supporting member by the vertical pin. The second supporting member and the seat are mounted rotatably on the body by the horizontal pintle. Thus, the monitor can be turned about the horizontal pintle to be raised from the body, and can be turned left or right about the vertical pin to change the horizontal viewing angle.
