An automatic gain control circuit able to perform high speed and correct level acquisition, able to prevent occurrence of error, and able to prevent a crash of the system. An amplification gain controller outputs a gain control signal to an automatic gain control amplifier to amplify the received signal with maximum value when receiving a burst detection trigger signal. A second gain control signal based on the detected reception signal power is calculated when receiving a first burst synchronization detection signal; and this second gain control signal is output to the automatic gain control amplifier. A received digital signal is amplified with the second gain and integrated to find the reception signal power, from which a third gain control signal is calculated and outputted to the automatic gain control amplifier to amplify the received signal with this third gain.

Disclosed is an optical disk device including: an objective lens unit having an objective lens and a lens holder; an elastic supporting member supporting displaceably the objective lens unit on a body of an optical head; first and second drive sections applying respectively driving forces to first and second driven positions on the objective lens unit opposed across a position of a center of mass of the objective lens unit in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the objective lens; and a driving force adjustment section adjusting allocation of the driving forces respectively applied to the first and second driven positions so that a possible influence of a displacement force in a tilt direction on a displacement force in a focusing direction at the position of the center of mass when the displacement forces act on the objective lens unit is avoided.
Abstract:
In a laser-power control method, a power of laser light emitted from a laser-light emitting element and a driving current for driving the laser-light emitting element are detected. An approximate expression indicating a driving-current to light-power characteristic of the laser-light emitting element is updated on the basis of the detected light power and the detected driving current while sequentially increasing accuracy. A command driving current corresponding to a target light power is calculated by using the updated approximate expression. The laser-light emitting element is driven on the basis of the calculated command driving current so as to output the target light power.
Abstract:
A data modulation method and a data modulation device and a communication device are disclosed. The present invention relates to the synchronization and training preamble. The reference symbol optimized in order to contain the structure of “IA-A-IA-A-A-IA-A-IA-IA” is allocated to sub-carriers of the OFDM symbol. More specifically, by designing the structure of the preamble of the time domain, distinction from the other communication system can be certainly conducted holding the correctness of the clock synchronization. Also, we have adopted the series having low peak average ratio and dynamic range of sync symbol using the OFDM. Since the generation and the detection processings can be conducted in utilizing the generation device and the detection device of the sync preamble used in the convention system, this system has an advantage in increasing the common use of the LSI chip. We have made the sync series divided into 2 parts A and B before to one B region and made this to have simple construction.

A filter filling apparatus serving as a system for manufacturing a tip device according to the present invention comprises, for example, on a base inside a casing, a sheet holder with a sheet-like filter carried thereon and a tip rack where a plurality of tips are held in a matrix-like configuration. Furthermore, a small-diameter filter punching-discharging mechanism having a plurality of small-diameter pipes disposed in a row and movable in the vertical direction and a filter push-in mechanism having a plurality of small-diameter rods disposed in a row and movable in the vertical direction are provided above the sheet holder and the tip rack. A cylinder connected to a nitrogen gas supply unit is connected via piping to the small-diameter pipes.

A demodulator includes a selecting unit selecting and outputting designated points of data from N points of data outputted from a Fourier transform circuit and an output order data generating unit generating data for designating points selected by this selecting unit. The selection processing of the selecting unit includes de-interleave processing to thereby allow realizing generation processing and demodulation processing for generating and demodulating an interleaved OFDM modulation signal with a simple constitution in a short processing time.

In a radio communication such as a radio telephone system or the like, a transmission channel which can accommodate a change in a transmission capacity is set. While a terminal apparatus and a base station are in communication for transmitting a predetermined information using a predetermined transmission channel, a signal requesting to set another transmission channel is transmitted using a part of the predetermined transmission channel to initiate communication between the terminal apparatus and the base station through the other transmission channel.

In order cope with a change of the transmitting capacity in a wireless telephone system. A number of transmission channels are set within the transmission frequency band prepared for each base station. When a communication is made between the terminal equipment and the base station through the transmission channels, at least a first transmission channel and a second transmission channel are set as the transmission channel depending on a class of information to be transmitted. The first transmission channel is set to have a fixed transmitting capacity and the second transmission channel is set so that the minimum transmitting capacity may be defined and the transmitting capacity greater than the minimum transmitting capacity may be set depending on the setting condition of the transmission channels within the transmission frequency band prepared.
