Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a receptacle shell, an insulation housing bracket, a receptacle grounding contact, and a grounding member. The insulation housing bracket is disposed inside the receptacle shell. The receptacle grounding contact is held inside the housing base. The grounding member is disposed on a first side of the insulation housing bracket and located between the insulation housing bracket and the receptacle shell. A connecting structure is selectively disposed on the grounding member or on the receptacle grounding contact. The connecting structure penetrates through the insulation housing bracket and mechanically or physically connects the grounding member and the receptacle grounding contact such that the grounding member is electrically connected to the receptacle grounding contact.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, plate terminals, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base portion. The plate terminals are at the insulated housing. The plate terminals include soldering segments exposed out of the bottom of the base portion. The metallic shell encloses four sides of the insulated housing and includes a top cover plate, a rear cover plate, and pins. The top cover plate is located atop the base portion. The rear cover plate is extending downwardly to the rear side of the base portion from the rear side of the top cover plate. The rear cover plate includes a bottom surface and a bent sheet substantially perpendicular to an outer wall of the rear cover plate and extended outward from the outer wall of the rear cover plate, and the pins are extending downwardly from the bottom surface.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector is disclosed. The electrical receptacle connector includes a plurality of upper-row receptacle terminals and lower-row receptacle terminals. The plurality of upper-row receptacle terminals and lower-row receptacle terminals have 180 degree symmetrical, dual or double orientation design which enable the electrical plug connector to be inserted into the electrical receptacle connector in either of two intuitive orientations. Each of the receptacle terminals includes a flat contact portion, a soldering portion and a connecting portion. The flat contact portion is extended from one end of the connecting portion, and the soldering portion is extended from the other end of the connecting portion. The width of the connecting portion is different from the width of the flat contact portion.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metal shell, an insulation housing, upper-row plate terminals, and lower-row plate terminals. The metal shell defines a receptacle cavity to receive the insulation housing. The insulation housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending from one side of the base portion. The tongue portion includes an upper surface and a lower surface. The upper-row plate terminals are held on the base portion and tongue portion and include upper-row contact segments at the upper surface for transmitting first signals. The lower-row plate terminals are held on the base portion and tongue portion and include lower-row contact segments at the lower surface for transmitting second signals. The upper-row plate terminals and the lower-row plate terminals are point-symmetrical with a central point of the receptacle cavity as the symmetrical center.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes a metal shell, an insulation housing, upper-row elastic terminals, and lower-row elastic terminals. The metal shell defines a receiving cavity to receive the insulation housing. The insulation housing includes an upper member, a lower member, and a mating room between the upper member and the lower member. The upper-row elastic terminals are held on a lower surface of the upper member and include upper-row elastic contact segments extending toward the mating room for transmitting first signals. The lower-row elastic terminals are held on an upper surface of the lower member and include lower-row elastic contact segments extending toward the mating room for transmitting second signals.
Abstract:
An electrical connector plug having resilient contact terminals electrically connects to an electrical connector socket with a casing and two groups of engaging terminals mounted on or in the casing. The electrical connector plug has an electrically conductive housing. A coupling device extends in a longitudinal direction and has a base portion. Two groups of resilient contact terminals are mounted in the coupling device axially symmetrically arranged with each other in the longitudinal direction, each of which has a flat section and an upwardly protruding contact section. A metallic shield frame is electrically connected to and secured to the electrically conductive housing, having a frame section, a front section, and two lateral protective sections. An electrically conductive section extends from the frame section towards the front section for electrical connection to the casing of the electrical connector socket.
Abstract:
A waterproof electrical receptacle connector includes a plastic shell, a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a buckling member. The plastic shell includes a shell body, a through hole defined in the shell body, and an assembling hole defined on the shell body. The metallic shell is received in the through hole and defines a receiving cavity. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity and includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending from the base portion. The buckling member is positioned with the assembling hole and includes a buckling body and a hook extending from the bottom of the buckling body and protruded out of the assembling hole. Accordingly, the hook is protruded out of the assembling hole and engaged with a buckling hole of a circuit board, so that the front of waterproof electrical receptacle connector can be firmly positioned with the circuit board.
Abstract:
A waterproof electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, a metallic shell, and a sealing member (e.g., a waterproof glue block). The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extended from one side of the base portion. The metallic shell includes a tubular portion and an outer peripheral portion. The outer peripheral portion is formed by deep drawing techniques and extended from the rear of the tubular portion. The inner dimension of the outer peripheral portion is greater than the inner dimension of the tubular portion. A filling groove is forming between the inner wall of the outer peripheral portion and the outer surface of the base portion. The sealing member is formed at the filling groove to fill a gap between the inner wall of the outer peripheral portion and the outer surface of the base portion and fill the bottom of the base portion.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a plurality of plug terminals. The insulated housing is received in the metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a first groove and a plurality of second grooves. The plug terminals are held in the insulated housing in a single row manner. Each of the plug terminals includes a flexible contact portion, a body portion, and a plurality of cut portions. The flexible contact portion is extending backward from the body portion in the front-to-rear direction and protruded from the insulated housing. The cut portions are at the body portion and correspond to the first groove, and the flexible contact portions respectively correspond to the second grooves.
