Abstract: While an electronic device is connected to a first external device, display a first user interface including a first affordance. Detect an input selecting the first affordance. In response to detecting the input corresponding to selection of the first affordance, initiate a process to provide audio data concurrently with the first external device and a second external device different from the first external device. After initiating the process to provide audio data concurrently to the first external device and a second external device, detect an indication that a physical proximity between the electronic device and the second external device satisfies a proximity condition. In response to detecting the indication that the physical proximity between the electronic device and the second external device satisfies the proximity condition, display a second user interface indicating that the physical proximity between the electronic device and the second external device satisfies the proximity condition.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods that enable users to customize operation of a touch-sensitive secondary display. An example method includes displaying, at the touch-sensitive secondary display, a system-level affordance for controlling a system-level feature and an affordance for causing display of representations of user-defined workspaces. Receiving a first input at the affordance for causing display of the representations the user-defined workspaces. In response to receiving the first input, displaying, at the touch-sensitive secondary display, a selectable user interface object corresponding to a first window from a first application and a second window from a second application. Receiving a selection, and in response to receiving the second input corresponding to selection of the selectable user interface object corresponding to the first window from the first application and the second window from the second application, displaying the first window from the first application and the second window from the second application.

Abstract: In some embodiments, an electronic device presents settings user interfaces associated with cellular identifiers. In some embodiments, a first electronic device accesses a first cellular identifier regardless of the first electronic device's connection to a second electronic device and accesses a second cellular identifier when the first electronic device is connected to the second electronic device. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents visual indications of cellular identifiers in relation to communication functions. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents visual indications of the status of cellular identifiers active on the electronic device. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents alerts associated with one or more cellular identifiers that have been removed from the electronic device.

Abstract: A method includes displaying a first media information affordance representing a first media item in response to detecting an indication that a physical proximity between an electronic device and an external device satisfies a proximity condition. The electronic device receives a first input representing selection of the first media information affordance. In response to receiving the first input: in accordance with a determination that the first input is a first type of input, a process to playback the first media item is initiated; and in accordance with a determination that the first input is a second type of input different from the first type of input, a second media information affordance representing the first media item is displayed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods that enable users to customize operation of a touch-sensitive secondary display. An example method includes: displaying, on primary display, a first UI for a first application; while secondary display is operating in an adaptive display mode: (i) displaying, on a respective portion of the touch-sensitive secondary display, application-specific user interface elements selected based on current state of the first UI; and (ii) receiving a request to operate the secondary display in a persistent mode; in response to receiving the request, operating the touch-sensitive secondary display in the persistent display mode; and after changing focus to a second UI for a second application: displaying, on the primary display, the second UI; and maintaining display, on the respective portion of the secondary display, of UI elements associated with the persistent display mode.

Abstract: Systems and methods for proactively identifying and surfacing relevant content on an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display are disclosed herein. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining information identifying a first physical location viewed by a user in a first application. The method further includes detecting a first input. In response to detecting the first input: a second application is identified that is capable of accepting geographic location information; and an affordance is presented that is distinct from the first application, with a suggestion to open the second application. The suggestion includes information about the first physical location. The method further includes detecting a second input at the affordance. In response to detecting the second input at the affordance, the second application is opened and populated to include information that is based at least in part on the information identifying the first physical location.

Abstract: An electronic device with a display and a fingerprint sensor displays a fingerprint enrollment interface and detects, on the fingerprint sensor, a plurality of finger gestures performed with a finger. The device collects fingerprint information from the plurality of finger gestures performed with the finger. After collecting the fingerprint information, the device determines whether the collected fingerprint information is sufficient to enroll a fingerprint of the finger. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device enrolls the fingerprint of the finger with the device. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is not sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device displays a message in the fingerprint enrollment interface prompting a user to perform one or more additional finger gestures on the fingerprint sensor with the finger.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for management of voicemail messages, performed at a portable electronic device with a touch screen display, includes: displaying a list of voicemail messages; detecting selection by a user of a respective voicemail message in the list; responding to the user selection of the respective voicemail message by initiating playback of the user-selected voicemail message; displaying a progress bar for the user-selected voicemail message, wherein the progress bar indicates the portion of the user-selected voicemail message that has been played; detecting movement of a finger of the user from a first position on the progress bar to a second position on the progress bar; and responding to the detection of the finger movement by restarting playback of the user-selected voicemail message at a position within the user-selected voicemail message corresponding substantially to the second position on the progress bar.

Abstract: In some implementations, a user device can predictively route media content to a remote playback device based on playback context information obtained by the user device. The playback context can include local playback context information related to the state and/or context of the user device. The playback context can include remote playback context information related to the state and/or context of available remote playback devices. Based on the playback context information obtained by the user device, the user device can generate a predictive score for each available playback device that indicates or predicts the likelihood that the user will want to send media content to the corresponding playback device. The user device can generate and present a graphical user interface that can identify the playback devices having predictive scores over a threshold score. In some instances, the user device can automatically route selected media content to a predicted playback device.

Abstract: An electronic device having a display, radio frequency (RF) circuitry, and one or more input devices, displays a first user interface on the display. While displaying the first user interface, the electronic device detects a pairing request to pair a first peripheral with the electronic device. In response to detecting the pairing request, the electronic device pairs the first peripheral with the electronic device, and after the first peripheral is paired with the electronic device, the electronic device concurrently displays status information of the first peripheral and a second peripheral, wherein the first peripheral is coupled to the second peripheral, or the first peripheral and second peripheral are both coupled to a third peripheral.
