Abstract:
A processing system including at least one processor may obtain a request for a performance of a task, where the task is to be performed by at least one autonomous vehicle, broadcast an offer for performing the task to a plurality of autonomous vehicles, obtain from a first autonomous vehicle of the plurality of autonomous vehicles, a bid to perform the task by the first autonomous vehicle and at least a second autonomous vehicle, and assign the task to the first autonomous vehicle and the at least the second autonomous vehicle in response to the bid.
Abstract:
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments for presenting a group of advertisements within media content by a software application on a display communicatively coupled to the communication device resulting in a presentation of the group of advertisements, and operating a virtual assistant application simultaneously with the software application. Further embodiments include detecting voice input from a user associated with the communication device using a voice recognition technique utilized by the virtual assistant application, identifying first user data based on the voice input associated with a group of advertising entities associated with the group of advertisements, and obtaining information regarding the group of advertising entities based on the first user data. Additional embodiments include determining a group of recommended actions according to the information regarding the group of advertising entities, and providing the user with the group of recommended actions. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Abstract:
A collaborative video camera system of an edge node can be used to track and predict objects, locations of the objects, and events associated therewith. For example, multiple cameras can be utilized to determine the direction in which an object is heading. This data can be used to activate and/or dispatch other cameras that may be at or near the predicted location of the object. Additionally, sound associated with the object can be used to predict and/or active cameras that are at or near the predicted location of the object.
Abstract:
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, storing, in a database, information associated with a first item purchased by a user, the information comprising an identification of the first item and a time of purchase of the first item; receiving web browsing data based upon monitoring, by another device, web browsing of the user; determining, based upon the web browsing data that is received, whether the user is currently browsing at a shopping website, resulting in a determination; responsive to the determination being that the user is currently browsing at the shopping website, querying the database to determine an elapsed time since the time of purchase of the first item; responsive to the elapsed time meeting a threshold, generating a message to send to the another device monitoring the web browsing, the message informing the user of a suggested second item for the buyer to purchase, the suggested second item being a replacement for the first item; and sending the message to the another device for presentation to the user. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Abstract:
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, providing to a user device a video content item including at least one scene which includes a plurality of advertisement placement opportunities and determining a preference profile for an individual associated with the user device. Aspects further include selecting a group of matching advertisements having advertisement profiles that match the preference profile for the individual and determining a relative prominence score for each advertisement placement opportunity. Aspects further include ordering the matching advertisements according to prominence information specified for each matching advertisement, wherein the prominence information corresponds to a relative desired prominence specified by an advertiser associated with the matching advertisement. Aspects further include providing the ordered matching advertisements to the user device according to the respective prominence information so that a matching advertisement having a greatest desired prominence is displayed in the video content item at an advertisement placement opportunity having a highest relative prominence score. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Abstract:
A view can be presented with an augmented reality (AR) view of the space. The AR view can be augmented with imagery to indicate to the viewer environmental conditions that may not otherwise be known to the viewer. The viewer can also initiate alterations to the environment based on the information and recommendations presented in the AR view. Current conditions, past trends, and forecasted future trends can be included in the creation of the AR displays.
Abstract:
This disclosure comprises a solution that can sort objects based on values under various circumstances for the purpose of grouping objects and determining recommended placement or disposition of the objects. An object can be assigned a monetary value, a sentimental value, and a practical value. The practical value can be entered individually for the object via the web or virtual assistant access to the object inventory. The practical value can also be estimated via sensors on or proximate to the object that can sense activity related to the object.
Abstract:
A social communities assistant system may serve as a proxy for a user when communicating with social networking communities. The user may have a single interface on, such as an application, to communicate with a plurality of social communities. As a proxy, the social communities assistant system may manage parallel communications among the social communities on behalf of the user. The social communities assistant system may manage communications of various types. These types of communication may include queries, responses, statements, event notifications, or actions, among other things.
Abstract:
Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for detecting and using mood-condition affinities. A processor that executes an affinity service or affinity application can obtain collected data associated with a user device. The collected data can include sensor readings collected by the user device. The processor can determine a condition at the user device and a mood associated with the condition. The processor can generate an affinity that defines a relationship between the condition and the mood and store the affinity at a data storage device.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for the detection, location stamping, and logging of electronic events and subsequent generation of habitat information. According to implementations, electronic events are detected and location stamped. Associated descriptions and other data corresponding to the electronic events is retrieved and stored along with the geographic locations of the electronic events in an activity log. The information in the activity log is used to generate visual representations of one or more geographic areas in which electronic events that meet user-defined or default criteria occurred within a predetermined frequency.
