    摘要: In a fixing device, a core material of a fixing rotating member has two largest-diameter portions respectively located between a central portion and each end portion of the fixing rotating member, within a region where a recording material of a largest size passes, and the diameter of each core material is gradually reduced from the largest-diameter portion toward the central portion and toward the nearest end portion. The outer shape of the fixing rotating member conforms to the shape of the core material. According to this configuration, it is possible to prevent corrugation and curl of the recording material, and to provide excellent mountability of the recording material.

    摘要: An electrophotographic process including forming, on a photosensitive plate, an electrostatic latent image corresponding to optical information, developing the latent image by the reversal development and transferring the developed image onto a transfer material includes the improvement whereby a voltage of polarity opposite to that of the developer is applied to the photosensitive plate at least during the time from the end of the reversal development to the transfer step. This improvement in the electrophotographic process and apparatus for same prevents developer particles from being scattered away from the photosensitive plate and thereby also avoids the trouble of distortion of the image at the transfer step.

    摘要: With a double-sided display module having a main panel and a sub-panel sharing drive signals, the image quality of the main panel is improved. When the display devices uses the same driver IC to drive the main panel and the sub-panel, the contrast is uneven at the border area between a region of the main panel where signal electrodes share drive signals with the sub-panel and a region of the main panel where signals electrodes do not share drive signals. In order to make the contrast unevenness practically invisible to the naked eye, an unshared electrode adjacent to the border between different contrast levels on the main panel is connected to the dummy electrode. The dummy electrode has to be smaller than the total overlap area of one electrode that constitutes a pixel of the sub-panel. In the case where the sub-panel has more than one dummy electrode, the dummy electrodes are gradually made smaller.
