摘要: A leak detector comprising a sensor unit including a measuring slim-tube (13b) via the lower end of which a liquid in a tank is led in/out, a measuring tube (17) connected to the upper end thereof and having a sectional area larger than that thereof, and temperature sensors (133, 134) and a heater (135) provided to the slim-tube (13b), and a leak detection control unit (15a) connected to the sensor unit. The leak detection control unit (15a) has a pulse voltage generating circuit for applying a single pulse voltage to the heater (135) and a leak detecting circuit that is connected to the temperature sensors (133, 134) and produces an output equivalent to a temperature difference sensed by these temperature sensors, whereby a value equivalent to a liquid flow rate is calculated by integrating the difference between an output from the leak detecting circuit and its initial value according to a single pulse voltage applied to the heater (135) by the pulse voltage generating circuit, and leakage of liquid from the tank is detected based on this value.

摘要: A liquid level detecting method is provided for detecting the level of a liquid at a high accuracy by performing correction by using the density of the liquid, in the case of detecting the liquid level by using a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor (3) is arranged to have a contact with the liquid. A liquid pressure applied to the pressure sensor (3) is detected by the pressure sensor, and the liquid level is calculated based on the liquid pressure and the density of the liquid. Namely, the liquid level detecting method includes a process of calculating an assumed liquid level value, assuming that the liquid has a prescribed density, based on the liquid pressure; a process of discriminating the concentration of the liquid by a concentration discriminating sensor part (2); a process of obtaining a density value of the liquid, based on the discriminated liquid concentration and a relationship between the concentration and the density of the liquid; and a process of calculating the liquid level based on the assumed liquid level value and the density value.

An identifying sensor unit (2) so disposed as to face a flow passage (24) of a liquid to be measured has an indirect-heating liquid type detecting section (21) including a heater and a heat sensor and a liquid temperature sensing section (22). A single pulse voltage is applied to the heater of the liquid type detecting section to allow the heater to generate heat, and an identification calculation section makes an identification according to the output of the liquid type detecting circuit including the heat sensor of the liquid type detecting section and the liquid temperature sensing section. Identification is made by judging that the liquid to be measured is a predetermined one only when a liquid-type-corresponding first voltage corresponding to the difference between the initial temperature of the heat sensor at the heat generation of the heater and a first temperature after a first time passes from the start of the single pulse application and a liquid-type-corresponding second voltage corresponding to the difference between the initial temperature of the heat sensor and a second temperature after a second time longer than the first time passes from the start of the single pulse application lie in the respective predetermined ranges.

摘要: A speaker comprising: a magnetic circuit provided with a through hole, and a recess formed around the through hole for retaining a magnetic fluid. The speaker further comprises a bearing provided in the through hole and a shaft supported by the bearing to be movable up and down and fixed to a center cap fixed to a voice coil. A gap between the bearing and the shaft is filled with the magnetic fluid. The speaker eliminates a damper, and realizes a very low f0 which has not been obtained before. Furthermore, the magnetic fluid absorbs friction and resonance between the bearing and the shaft, and the magnetic fluid is kept in the recess and is supplied smoothly into the gap between the shaft and the bearing. Thus, generation of abnormal sounds is suppressed and a large amplitude operation is realized in the speakers of the present invention.

摘要: A filling/sealing apparatus used for ampules generally has a feed star wheel feeding ampules, a turntable transporting the ampules delivered from the feed star wheel, and an intermediate star wheel interposed between the feed star wheel and the turntable. Around the turntable, filling needles fill the ampules with liquid, burners seal the upper ends of the ampules, and pincers pinch the upper ends of ampules. Sensors determine whether the ampules being transported by the intermediate star wheel have the upper ends intact and damaged ampules are removed. The number of ampules that can be held by the turntable as well as the star wheel is set to integral times as many as the number of ampules that can be simultaneously filled by the filling needles.
