Abstract: A retrieval device attachable to a scope includes a handle which has an attachment portion configured to couple the handle to the scope; a shaft coupled to the handle having a wire immovably coupled to the handle; and a sheath movable relative to the handle over the wire between a distal position and a proximal position via an actuator of the handle. The actuator actuates a slider assembly of the handle. The slider assembly is coupled to the sheath and movable relative to the attachment portion to move the sheath and an expandable end effector coupled to the distal end of the wire. The end effector is movable between a collapsed configuration when the sheath is moved distally to the distal position to cover the end effector and an expanded configuration when the sheath is moved proximally to the proximal position, uncovering the end effector.

Abstract: A medical device including an energy generator, a proximal end, and a distal end. The proximal end may include a handle and one or more connectors coupled to the energy generator. The distal end may include a number of movable branch members connected to one or more movable filaments at the distal end to form at least one expandable snare. At least one of the one or more movable filaments may be coupled to the one or more connectors to transfer energy to the at least one of the one or more movable filaments. A portion of the at least one of the one or more movable filaments forming the at least one expandable snare may be insulated.

Abstract: In a general aspect, a delivery device for delivering a medical implant can include a handle, a shaft having a first curved portion and terminating in a conical tip at a distal end and a transitional portion coupling the shaft with the handle. The transitional portion can include a first substantially straight section, a second substantially straight section and an angled section disposed between the first and second substantially straight sections. The angled section can define an angle between the first substantially straight section and the second substantially straight section. The first substantially straight section can extend from the distal end of the handle and have an outside diameter greater than an outside diameter of a distal end of the second substantially straight section. The second substantially straight section can have a distal end axially adjacent to the proximal end of the shaft and have a diameter that decreases distally.

Abstract: A medical device may include a distal end having an expandable grasping portion with a plurality of movable branch members, and at least one filament connected to and slidably movable within at least a portion of the plurality of movable branch members. The proximal end of the device may include a handle having an actuation guide and an actuation selector connected to and movable along the actuation guide. The actuation selector may be coupled to ends of the at least one filament and may be configured to exert a force on the filament to vary the size of the grasping portion between a plurality of pre-selected discrete configurations of the grasping portion. In addition, the medical device may include a sheath member extending from the distal end toward the proximal end. The proximal ends of the plurality of movable branch members may be disposed within the sheath member.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a medical assembly including an implant, a first sleeve, a second sleeve and an elongate member. The implant has a first portion, a second portion and a mid portion. The first portion of the implant is configured to be enclosed by the first sleeve and the second portion of the implant is configured to be enclosed by the second sleeve. The elongate member is configured to couple the implant with the first sleeve and the second sleeve and is configured to respectively extend from the first portion to the mid portion of the implant and past the mid portion such that the elongate member exits the implant through the mid portion and forms a loop near the mid portion.

Abstract: An insertion device includes an elongate member and a stylet. The elongate member has a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, and defines a lumen therethrough. The stylet has a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, and is slidably coupled to the elongate member. The proximal end portion of the stylet is configured to removably couple a mesh carrier thereto.
