摘要: A stent for insertion into a vessel of a body and used in connection with a foil sheet, where the foil sheet comprises a radioactive material, is described. The stent and foul sheet are positioned so that the radioactive material in the foil sheet can deliver a desired dosage to an prescribed area, thereby reducing the distance for delivering the radioactive dose. The radioactive material may comprise carrier-free palladium 103. The foils screen may further comprise a shielding lay on the side for directing the dosage. A method for placing the stent and foil into a vessel of a body is also described.

摘要: The invention is an apparatus and method for testing the residual seal force of the closure of a container, particularly a container for parenteral pharmaceutical products. An automated and instrumented press collects stress and strain data for a closure of a container for parenteral pharmaceutical products. An algorithm is automatically applied to the resulting data set, determining candidate residual seal forces for several data smoothing spans. Confidence levels are determined for each of the candidate residual seal forces. The candidate residual seal force corresponding to the highest confidence level is selected. The process is repeated and the results averaged to determine a final residual seal force.

摘要: Techniques are provided through which “suspicious” web pages may be identified automatically. A “suspicious” web page possesses characteristics that indicate some manipulation to artificially inflate the position of the web page within ranked search results. Web pages may be represented as nodes within a graph. Links between web pages may be represented as directed edges between the nodes. “Snapshots” of the current state of a network of interlinked web pages may be automatically generated at different times. In the time interval between snapshots, the state of the network may change. By comparing an earlier snapshot to a later snapshot, such changes can be identified. Extreme changes, which are deemed to vary significantly from the normal range of expected changes, can be detected automatically. Web pages relative to which these extreme changes have occurred may be marked as suspicious web pages which may merit further investigation or action.

摘要: Second-stage nozzles have vanes including airfoil profiles substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in inches in Table I with the X, Y and Z values commencing at the radially innermost aerodynamic section of the airfoil and then made relative to that section for the Z coordinate values. The X, Y and Z values may be scaled as a function of the same constant or number to provide a scaled-up or scaled-down airfoil section for the nozzle.

摘要: A recovery chunk is generated based on information found in each chunk in a group of chunks. For example, the group of chunks includes three chunks of which information in the three chunks is used to generate a recovery chunk. The recovery chunk is then used to recover a single lost chunk in the group of chunks. The three chunks and the recovery chunk are sent to a receiver over a network. If one of the three chunks is lost, the recovery chunk is used to generate the lost chunk. The recovery chunk is used to recover a single lost chunk, however, the recovery chunk is not used to recover more than one lost chunk in the group. The number of chunks is also dynamically adjusted based on chunk loss at a receiver. This adjustment is based on the bandwidth used and reliability desired.

摘要: Aberrations in an optical system can be detected and measured using a method comprised of a test target in the object plane of a projection system and imaging onto the image plane with the system. The test target comprises at least one open figure which comprises a multiple component array of phase zones, where the multiple zones are arranged within the open figure so that their response to lens aberration is interrelated and the zones respond uniquely to specific aberrations depending on their location within the figure. This is a unique and new method of detecting a variety of aberration types including coma, spherical, astigmatism, and three-point through the imaging onto photosensitive material or image detector placed in the image plane of the system and the evaluation of these images. The method of the invention offers an advantage over other methods because of the sensitivity to particular abberation types, the unique response of the multiple zones of the test target to aberrations, and the ease with which aberrations can be distinguished.
