    Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing computing, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing transient state computing with optics. In various embodiments, a chromatic transient state computing system might receive one or more input values and might assign a “chromabit value” to each of the one or more input values. The chromatic transient state computing system might include a plurality of sets of colored light emitting diodes (“LEDs”) and a corresponding set of photoreceptors. Each distinguishable color as detected by one of the photoreceptors might correspond to a combination of colors emitted by a set of colored LEDs, each distinguishable color representing a chromabit value. The chromatic transient state computing system might perform a computing operation using the assigned chromabit values each corresponding to each of the one or more input values, and might output one or more output values resulting from the computing operation.

    Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing firewall functionalities, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing high availability (“HA”) web application firewall (“WAF”) functionalities. In various embodiments, a first computing system might monitor network communications between a client and a server providing access to software applications, and might determine whether latency has been introduced as a result of at least one first WAF container having been launched and whether any introduced latency exceeds a predetermined threshold, each first WAF container being tuned to a corresponding software application and protecting the software application from network attacks. Based on a determination that latency has been introduced and based on a determination that the introduced latency exceeds the predetermined threshold, one or more second WAF containers may be launched, each being tuned to the corresponding software application. Subsequently, any unused or underutilized WAF containers may be decommissioned or deleted.

    Abstract: An edge computing telecommunications network is provided for efficiently generating and updating computing models for use at distributed devices connected to different edge compute sites of the network. A network orchestration system may track devices connected to the network and the edge compute sites to which they are connected. The devices may comprise limited computing power and may include sensors or other data collection mechanisms. Raw data may be provided from connected devices to one or more edge compute sites. Edge compute sites may be instructed, e.g., by the network orchestration system, whether to replicate the raw data, modify the data to make it ready for consumption by a computing model, replicate the modified data, refine the computing model, replicate the refined computing model, and/or share some or all of the raw data, modified data, and/or refined computing model with other edge computing sites and/or connected devices.
