Abstract: Systems and methods for aggregating and analyzing digital manufacturing data are disclosed. An aggregator can collect output data generated by a number of digital manufacturing machines. The output data can be filtered and transmitted to a server for storage in a database. One or more clients can access the data in the database via an API. This can extract 3D printer data, transform it into a canonical form, and upload it to a network-based database. These services can interact using a client-centric messaging system like Kafka or, more generally, a message manager. When a client's producer sends a message, the messaging system responds that the message request either can or cannot be processed. If the message can be processed, then the aggregator sends the message; otherwise the producer can retry at a future time.

Abstract: An event recognition system includes one or more processing circuits including one or more memory devices and one or more processors. The one or more memory devices are configured to store instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: execute an algorithm that receives image data as an input and recognizes a first equipment object and a second equipment object in the image data; recognize an event involving the first equipment object and the second equipment object based upon the image data containing the recognized first equipment object and the recognized second equipment object; and execute an event procedure based upon the event where the event procedure includes controlling the first equipment object.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of streaming interactive computer graphics from a server to a client device. The method includes the steps of: intercepting graphics instructions transmitted from an application destined for a graphical processing unit (GPU) at the server; processing the graphics instructions to generate graphics data at the server; generating index information for, at least, some of the graphics data at the server; transmitting the index information in place of the graphics data to a client device; extracting corresponding graphics data stored at the client device utilizing the index information; and rendering computer graphics at a graphical processing unit (GPU) at the client device using the corresponding graphics data. A system for streaming interactive computer graphics is also disclosed.

Abstract: A system and method for the late-binding of time-based media in real-time. With late binding, the sender may create time-based media before or at the same time an active delivery route to the recipient is discovered. As soon as the route becomes available, the media is transmitted. The existing DNS and email infrastructure is possibly used for route discovery, while any real-time transmission protocol may be used for the actual delivery of the media. “Progressive” emails may also be used for the real-time delivery of time-based media.

Abstract: Automatic testing/analysis of local loops of telecommunications networks includes obtaining bits-per-tone data for a local loop of a telecommunications network and generating a bit value string from the bits-per-tone data. The bit value string is then analyzed to determine whether it includes a bit pattern indicative of an impairment of the local loop. Further approaches for automatically testing local loops of telecommunications networks include obtaining attenuation data for multiple tones carried by the local loop and determining whether the attenuation data falls below thresholds for providing a service using the local loop.

Abstract: A system and method for providing online games on client devices based on capabilities of the client devices are disclosed. Device capability information may be obtained from the client devices during the online game. Values of one or more capability parameters may be determined based on the device capability information obtained. Device profiles may be assigned to the client devices based on the determined values of the capability parameters. One or more game features may be adjusted in accordance with the assigned device profile for implementing the online game on the client devices. The adjustable game features may include frame rate, level of detail of rendering, level of 3D graphics, level of collision effects, animation type, gameplay available for user interaction, gameplay content for user interaction, communication mode, physics effects available for display, level of artificial intelligence, and/or any other features of the online game.

Abstract: Systems and methods for passing account authentication information via parameters. A server can provide, to a client device, an account parameter derived from an account credential used to authenticate a first application to insert into a link. The link can include an address referencing a second application. The account parameter can be passed from the first application to the second application responsive to an interaction on the link. The server can receive from the second application of the client device, subsequent to passing the account parameter from the first application to the second application, a request to authenticate the second application including the account parameter. The server can authenticate the client device for the second application using the account parameter. The server can transmit, responsive to authenticating the client device for the second application, an authentication indication to the second application of the client device.

Abstract: A system designed for increasing network communication speed for users, while lowering network congestion for content owners and ISPs. The system employs network elements including an acceleration server, clients, agents, and peers, where communication requests generated by applications are intercepted by the client on the same machine. The IP address of the server in the communication request is transmitted to the acceleration server, which provides a list of agents to use for this IP address. The communication request is sent to the agents. One or more of the agents respond with a list of peers that have previously seen some or all of the content which is the response to this request (after checking whether this data is still valid). The client then downloads the data from these peers in parts and in parallel, thereby speeding up the Web transfer, releasing congestion from the Web by fetching the information from multiple sources, and relieving traffic from Web servers by offloading the data transfers from them to nearby peers.
