    摘要: An image coding method decodes a coded stream which is generated by inter prediction coding a moving picture and includes processing units and a header of such units, the processing units including at least one processing unit divided in a hierarchy, the hierarchy including: a highest hierarchical layer in which a coding unit is a largest processing unit; and a lower hierarchical layer in which a prediction unit exists. The method comprises: identifying, by parsing hierarchy depth information stored in the header and indicating a hierarchical layer higher than a lowest hierarchical layer in which a smallest prediction unit exits, a hierarchical layer which is indicated by the hierarchy depth information or a hierarchical layer higher than the indicated hierarchical layer, the hierarchical layer having a prediction unit that stores an adaptive motion vector resolution switch flag necessary for decoding; and decoding the prediction unit, using the flag.

    摘要: An image decoding method decodes a coded stream which includes plural processing units and a header of the processing units, and which is generated by coding a moving picture using inter prediction, the processing units including at least one processing unit divided in a hierarchy, the hierarchy including: a highest hierarchical layer in which a coding unit exists as a largest processing unit; and a lower hierarchical layer in which a prediction unit exists.     摘要: A coding method includes: defining an access unit; and coding each of the pictures included in the access unit, for each access unit. The defining includes: determining a unit of coding for determining whether the pictures included in the access unit are to be uniformly coded on a per-field basis or on a per-frame basis; and determining a field type for determining whether the pictures are to be uniformly coded as top fields or bottom fields when it is determined that the pictures included in the access unit are to be coded on a per-field basis. In the coding, each of the pictures is coded for each access unit in a format determined in the determining of a unit of coding and in the determining of a field type.

    摘要: A decoding method includes: obtaining a plurality of quantization parameter sets from a header of a coded stream; parsing an identifier from a header of a coded picture included in the coded stream; selecting at least one quantization parameter set from among the plurality of quantization parameter sets, based on the parsed identifier; determining whether a flag parsed from the header of the coded picture has a predetermined value; generating a new quantization matrix from another quantization matrix when the flag has the predetermined value; decoding the coded picture by inversely quantizing the coded picture using the generated new quantization matrix; and decoding the coded picture by inversely quantizing the coded picture using a quantization matrix included in the selected quantization parameter set when the flag does not have the predetermined value.

    摘要: A method of decoding includes decoding a coded stream obtained by coding first and second groups for each access unit including a picture of the first group and a corresponding picture of the second group, wherein the first and second groups are captured at different view points. The method includes determining whether the picture of the first group is synchronized with the picture of the second group, within the access unit, and decoding the picture of the first group using a generated predictive picture of the first group. The method also includes decoding the picture of the second group, using one of (i) a predictive picture generated from the second group and (ii) the predictive picture generated from the first group.
