摘要: The present invention provides a final drive for a vehicle including a compound gear set comprising an input, an output and first and second epicyclic gear sets, each epicyclic gear set comprising a sun gear, at least one planet gear, a planet carrier and a ring gear. The sun gear of the first epicyclic gear set in the final drive is rotatably coupled with the ring gear of the second epicyclic gear set.The final drive finds particular application in tracked vehicles which must be able to operate at both low torque, high speed and high torque, low speed conditions, for example in earth moving applications. Use of one or more final drives in a tracked vehicle gives the ability to operate in these two conditions without the need for potentially complicated and expensive modification of the tracked vehicle's present transmission.

摘要: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for using subqueues to enhance local message processing. Messages include queue IDs comprised of a parent portion and a suffix portion. The parent portion identifies a parent queue and the suffix portion identifies a subqueue of the parent queue. Message are logically moved between queues by changing suffix values, such as, for example, between subqueues, between the parent queue and a subqueue, and between a subqueue and the parent queue. Applications can examine messages and route messages to specified subqueues based on message content (including message bodies and headers). Suffix values can be changed in place (e.g., while the message remains physically stored in the queue) so as to preserve message sender identity and to avoid prematurely acknowledging delivery (i.e., no return ACK is generated)

摘要: Systems and methods in accordance with the present invention allow for messages to be delivered from one application to another over a network in discrete groupings or communication sessions. For example, a sending computer system sends a group of related messages to a queue at a recipient computer system. The recipient computer system identifies that the messages of the group are related, and initiates a session-oriented communication channel. The recipient computer passes the group of messages to an appropriate application, and opens a different, new session-oriented communication channel for a new group of messages that are not necessarily related to the first group of messages. In one implementation, an order identifier in each of the received messages instructs the recipient computer system on what order, if any, the messages in a group are to be processed by the specific application.

摘要: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for reliably and securely transferring queued application messages. Application messages are (e.g., binary or text) encoded and then encapsulated in transfer messages, enqueue messages, and dequeue responses such that composable protocol elements used in application messages can be reused in the transfer messages, enqueue messages, and dequeue responses. Transfer message headers are encoded and then encapsulated along with encoded application messages such that composable protocol elements used in transfer headers and application messages can be reused in the store and forward messages. Application messages, transfer messages, enqueue messages, dequeue responses, and store and forward messages can all be configured in accordance with the same messaging protocol, such as, for example, Simple Object Access Protocol. Since encapsulated elements are encoded, the encapsulated elements do not interfere with configuration of wrapping messages.

摘要: Multiple zones (21, 22, 23) are established with respect to the travel of a movable barrier over a course of permitted movement (typically between a fully open and a fully closed position). By detecting and knowing the juxtaposition of the movable barrier with a given one of these zones, a particular direction of movement for that movable barrier can be automatically selected notwithstanding possible ignorance regarding the exact position of the movable barrier due to, for example, one or more triggering conditions (such as momentary disconnection of the movable barrier with respect to its motive mechanism). Such zones are particularly efficacious when employed in conjunction with passpoint-based position determination movable barrier operator systems.

摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for screening articles such as baggage, utilizing a computerized touch sensitive screen or other computerized pointing device for operator identification and electronic marking of objects within the article to be further examined. Baggage is eletromagnetically (i.e., x-ray) scanned while traveling on a conveyer and an electronic image is taken of each article and stored in a computer. An operator positioned at a computerized touch sensitive screen views electronic images of the articles to be screened as they are conveyed past a sensor array which transmits sequences of images of the series either directly or through a computer to the touch sensitive display screen. The operator manually “touches” objects within the articles displayed on the screen to be identified on coupled interactive screens thereby registering the objects selected within the computer. The computer then provides sequential information identifying actions to be taken and information and data to be recorded. The system continually scans articles as they pass the scanning station and proceed for further processing, which ultimately may include being added to a vehicle as baggage or freight. The present system utilizes a plurality of visual display devices, each with an examiner, which are likely located remotely of the screening operation. Each examination continues independently of the scanning such that there is no interruption in the flow of articles should an examiner detect an object of interest and worthy of further examination, either by screen or by physical examination.

摘要: The roof of an automotive vehicle is provided with a pair of rails each of which has an upwardly facing slot. A pair of roof rack bars are each provided with an upwardly facing slot and a downwardly facing slot. A pair of roof engaging foot brackets are connected to opposite ends of each bar. A pair of angle members are secured to each bar. A pair of threaded studs extends through clearance holes in each angle member. The lower ends of the studs have enlarged heads which are inserted in the upper slot in a rail and turned into locking position. The upper ends of the studs are provided with flats to indicate the position of the heads. First nuts are threaded on the upper ends of the studs and have spherical surfaces engaging spherical surfaces on the angle members. Cotter pins fit within slots in the first nuts and holes in the angle member. Second nuts are threaded on the lower ends of the studs to engage and hold rail engaging members in position. Padlocks engage security members to prevent the device from being disengaged from the rails. Each security member includes a pin which is received within a slot in one of the first nuts.

摘要: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for domain controller safety-features and cloning. Embodiments include cloning virtual domain controllers. Cloning permits virtual domain controllers to be rapidly deployed by copying/cloning the entire operating system state of an existing virtual domain controller. Other embodiments provide safety features protecting domain controllers running within virtual machines from introducing distributed corruption into a directory services data system. Protection is facilitated by detecting when a hypervisor or Virtual Machine Manager (“VMM”) uses features that cause a virtual machine to be rolled back in time outside of an operating system's awareness. In response to detecting a feature that causes rollback, safeties can be implemented to compensate for otherwise divergent state and prevent the introduction of duplicate unique identifiers.

摘要: The present invention represents a web-based, CRM-integrated system and method for unlocking the creativity of salespeople at all levels when selling to different buyer personas within a buying community throughout the buying cycle. The system of the present invention may be flexible and may integrate the collection of data through questions posed to a user, as well as secondary data sources. This data may be utilized to create a tool for the sales process and to facilitate learning by salespeople. The tools created and utilized by the system may include personas, playbooks, and matrixes. These tools may be designed to facilitate the identification of a best action or choice in response to a particular situation or dilemma.
