    摘要: A plasma shutter forming apparatus for forming a plasma shutter used in a system configured to generate and accelerate radiations by irradiating a target with a laser pulse and generating a high-density plasma for blocking the laser pulse which is returned as a feedback light to upstream of the system without being absorbed by the high-density plasma, including a plasma shutter generating target, and a plasma shutter triggering laser irradiator, wherein the laser pulse from the plasma shutter triggering laser irradiator is directed to the plasma shutter generating target to generate the high-density plasma and form the plasma shutter, thereby blocking the laser pulse which is returned as the feedback light. Optics are prevented from becoming damaged by feedback light reflecting when generating the high-density plasma in a laser-driven radiation generating system and returning back to the upstream of the laser system.

The terminal body has top and bottom terminal members each continuous to top and bottom tightening members. The top and bottom tightening members are provided with tapered outer surfaces. A tightening tool having upper stage tapered surfaces and lower stage tapered surfaces is place above the tightening members. When the tightening tool is pressed against the tightening members, the upper stage tapered surfaces and the lower stage tapered surfaces press said first and second tapered outer surface to compress said top and bottom terminal members to firmly hold the terminal post.

    摘要: A projected portion 7 extending in a lengthwise direction of a tab portion 6 and having a given width is formed in a central section of one layer of the tab portion 6 where there is no seam before the tab portion is formed by folding back lateral sections to overlie the central section. The tab portion 6 is allowed to have a specified thickness by the presence of the projected portion 7. The tab portion 6 thus formed enables the fabrication of a more light-weight male terminal fitting at reduced costs and an increase in its strength.

    摘要: A battery terminal clamp that clamps firmly to the battery post by tightening a bolt from the horizontal direction to improve the productivity of the bolt tightening operation. The battery terminal clamp has, on a terminal clamp main body, a ring-shaped post fitting member continuous to the cable fitting member, and a pair of right and left tightening members continuous to the respective free ends of the post fitting member and having a gap therebetween. The tightening members are brought together by a nut and bolt to close the free ends of the post fitting member continuous thereto, thus clamping the battery terminal to the outside circumference of the battery post. The pair of right and left tightening members projecting from the post fitting member are provided at a rising slope of a predetermined angle to the post fitting member. A vertical bearing plate is provided on the outside surface of the upward-projecting part of each of the right and left tightening members, and a bolt is passed through the bolt hole of the bearing plate at a position above the terminal main body for tightening in the horizontal direction.

    摘要: A battery terminal mounted on a battery post has a cylindrically shaped post fitting, clamping members, a cable connector, and a tightening tool. The cable connector is formed by bending a vertically oriented metal band. Post fitting and clamping members are formed from a vertically oriented metal band, such that the clamping members are connected to the free ends of the post fitting. The clamping members 18A, 18B are further bent to provide sliding surfaces matching the tapers of the tightening tool. By tightening a bolt down from above, the clamping members are moved horizontally together, and the free ends of the post fitting are thus closed to clamp the battery post.
