摘要： An electrical connector includes an upper housing formed with a plurality of upper through holes therein, and a lower housing located under the upper housing and formed with a plurality of lower through holes therein corresponding to the upper through holes, respectively. A plurality of contacts are received within the upper housing and the lower housing, and respectively has an upper contacting portion and a lower contacting portion. At least some of the contacts extend with angles of inclination varying in sequence so that a distance defined by two neighboring lower contacting portions is larger than that defined by corresponding two neighboring upper contacting portions.

摘要： A socket for receiving an IC (integrate circuit) package comprises an insulative housing and a plurality of contacts. The insulative housing defines a plurality of contact passageways for receiving the contacts. Each contact has a retaining portion, an elastic arm and a soldering portion, and the retaining portion is formed with a first part, a second part and a bending part between the first and the second parts. Each of the first and the second parts is formed with a protrusion on an outside lateral edge thereof away from the bending part for interfering with the contact passageway of the insulative housing to retain the contact to the insulative housing.

摘要： An electrical contact used in an electrical connector adapted for electrically connecting with an integrated circuit (IC) package and a printed circuit board is provided. Each contact comprises a base section, an upper resilient arm and a lower elastic arm extending from two opposite ends of the base section, respectively. The electrical connector comprises an insulative housing and a plurality of contacts retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes a mating surface, a mounting surface, and a plurality of contact passageways passing through the mating surface and the mounting surface. The lower elastic arm of the contact at least partially projects below the mounting surface of the insulative housing. The lower elastic arm includes a first resisting portion for guiding the contact to be inserted into a via of the printed circuit board and resisting against inner wall of the via of the printed circuit board.

摘要： An independent loading mechanism (ILM) for an electrical connector comprises a stiffener, a load plate and a lever pivotally mounted to two opposite sides of the stiffener. The lever stamped and bent from a metal sheet is configured with a depressing portion having a cam tab bent from one side thereof, a pair of rollers mounted onto the depressing portion, an operating portion interconnected to the depressing portion. The cam tab can press the load plate toward the stiffener. The rollers located at two sides of the cam tab can engage with the stiffener to reduce rotational friction between the stiffener and the lever when rotating the operating portion from a horizontal direction to a vertical direction.

摘要： The single chip microcontroller unit includes a processing unit having normal power mode of operation and a low power mode of operation. Analog circuitry and digital circuitry are connected to the processing unit. A power management unit controls power operations of the processing unit, the analog circuitry and the digital circuitry. Power monitoring circuitry provides power control signals to the power management unit. The power monitoring circuitry further includes a system voltage monitoring circuit for generating a system voltage control signal responsive to a system voltage level with respect to a predetermined level. The power monitoring circuitry also includes a supply monitoring circuit for determining if a chip supply voltage level exceeds a threshold level.
