A system and method for battery protection. In some aspects, a power tool battery pack operable to supply power to a power tool includes a controller. The controller is operable to sample a battery pack condition in at least a first sampling mode and a second sampling mode to produce a plurality of measurements. The controller is further operable to average the plurality of measurements to produce an averaged measurement, and operable to modify operation of the battery pack when the averaged measurement is outside a specified range.

The battery is electrically connectable to the battery charger and the supply of the charging current from the battery charger to the battery is enabled when the switch is in the interrupt condition.

Disclosed is the redirection of air flow in a sub-plenum using a multi-directional plume that is attached to the bottom surface of an air-grate floor panel. The air-grate floor panel 102 has openings which allow redirected air to flow in an upward direction to cool computer equipment, including servers. The multi-directional plume has a series of vanes that are disposed in various different directions to deflect a flow of air conditioning air through a sub-plenum in a vertical direction to flow through openings in the air-grate floor panel. Since the multi-directional plume is capable of redirecting air from various different directions in the sub-plenum, the air-grate floor panels do not have to be repositioned to capture air flow from any particular direction.

A portable aisle protection system is provided. The system includes interlocking rectangular plate members capable of interconnecting in an aisle forming relationship. Each of the plate members has a smooth non-compressible top rolling surface, bottom and four sides. The four sides define peripheral edges. Three of the peripheral edges have interlocking formations. Non-compressible ramp rails have an inclined leading portion and a trailing edge. The inclined portion establishes an upward inclined plane, and the trailing edge includes interlocking formations adapted for interfitting butting engagement of the trailing edge with the respective peripheral edges of the plate members so that the ramp rails are capable of providing ingress and egress to the load protecting aisle formed by the plate members.

A power and control circuit is in electrical communication with said connector and is adapted to variably and radiantly heat a predetermined lower occupied zone of an underfloor air distribution system.

An articulating raised access floor panel is provided. The floor panel plate has upper and lower surfaces, four edges defining four corner portions, and a diagonal clear slot positioned at each of the corner portions. A diagonal channel member is connected to the lower surface at each of the corner portions so that the channel member extends axially and parallel with the clear slot. A bar is slidably received in each of the channel members. The bar includes a leveling screw capable of operation through the clear slot so that the plate is capable of vertical adjustment with respect to a pedestal support system.
