摘要： A bicep exercising device has a frame with a housing, and a elbow cradle to hold the elbow in a chosen flexed position. The elbow cradle is adjustably attached to a frame and a rotatable handle grip. This allows for comfortable position of the hand in a palm down position and the elbow in a flexed position between about 179 degrees and 15 degrees. The handle rotates 180 degrees or more, thus allowing for full supination of the forearm. Using a supination motion of the forearm a user can exercise the bicep muscle.

摘要： The invention comprises an electric eyelash curler. The invention has a handle connected to a head assembly. The head assembly comprises a heat element, gap and clamp surface. The heat element circuit is contained within the handle. A user places her eyelash into the gap. The user then presses on a lever, which moves the heat element into contact with the clamp surface. Movement of the lever also activates the heat element electric circuit. The heat element is turned "on", thereby heating and curling a user's eyelash. An audio signal or tone sounds once the proper amount of time has passed. In an alternate embodiment, the heat element is automatically de-activated when the tone sounds. Once complete, the user releases the pressure on the lever, thereby releasing her eyelash and de-activating the heat element circuit. A light is included to illuminate the user's eyelash.

摘要： A baby rest for placement upon a support surface employs a generally C-shaped inflatable tube member surrounded by padding, the combination of the tube member and padding encased in a generally circular outer fabric cover. The outer cover substantially traverses the center area of the C-shaped tube, thereby creating a thinly padded, central rest area on which an infant may lie. The tube member can be inflated to varying degrees, such that the tube member and the surrounding padding create a peripheral guard around the center rest area of sufficient height to prevent an infant from rolling out of the proportionally smaller rest area.

摘要： A closure is provided that is directed, in the preferred embodiment, to an adjustable gate suitable for confining or preventing small children or pets from entering a secure area. The preferred embodiment of the gate is comprised of two connected panels that are relatively slidable to accommodate doorways of varying width. A thumb screw arrangement is used to fix the relative positions of the panels when roughly adjusting the gate to a particular doorway. Once the gate is roughly adjusted to the doorway a foot-pedal mechanism residing in one of the panels is employed to cause a pair of contact pads to engage the door jamb. As the foot pedal is depressed the contact pad blocks associated with one side of the gate and the bumpers associated with the opposite of the gate engage opposite sides of the door jamb. Further, depression of the foot pedal causes an increasing normal force to be applied to the door jamb that frictionally fixes or wedges the gate in the door jamb. The foot-pedal mechanism employs a presser panel having inclined surfaces that cooperate with ramped surfaces on the contact pad blocks to force the contact pad blocks into contact with the door jamb. The forces of the contact pad blocks against the door jamb is maintained by a releasable ratchet mechanism which allows the foot-pedal and hence the presser panel to be depressed but prevents any upward movement. The ratchet mechanism incorporates a release mechanism which allows the foot-pedal and presser panel to move upward thereby reducing the force of the inclined surfaces against the contact pad blocks and releasing the gate from the door jamb.

摘要： A container for flowable materials such as baby food and the like has a circular shaped enclosing cap with a port opening into the interior of the container. A cover having an elongated hollow extension terminating in a feeder or dispenser portion releasably engages the circular cap so that the hollow extension can be rotatably aligned with the cap port thereby allowing transfer of flowable materials from the container into the feeder portion by gravity, flexure of the container or both. The cover is rotatable on the circular cap so as to control the amount of opening alignment with the cap port between a fully open and fully sealing closure position. The cover and cap can include cooperating stops for facilitating alignment and closure. An O-ring in surrounding relation to the cap port provides additional sealing.

摘要： The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for quickly heating a predetermined volume of viscous fluid and dispensing it efficiently at one or more selected temperatures. The viscous fluid includes non-volatile constituent parts. In one embodiment, the predetermined volume of viscous fluid is partially housed in a predelivery chamber separate from the main fluid reservoir. A heater assembly heats the viscous fluid in the predelivery chamber in a short time period and in small volumes to prevent overheating and adversely effecting the composition of the viscous fluid. To avoid continually heating the viscous liquid, a timer circuit is used in one embodiment.
