Abstract: This application provides a communication method, apparatus, and device. In the method, when a target tenant has a network operation and maintenance management requirement for accessing first information by using a first service, an NMS of the target tenant can successfully access the first information regardless of whether the target tenant has permission to invoke the first service. In addition, the first information is transmitted between an EMS and the tenant NMS of the target tenant without passing through an operator NMS. Therefore, security of the first information can be ensured.

Abstract: Example data processing methods and apparatus are described. One example data processing method includes receiving data description information and reported data, where the data description information includes at least one of a vendor name, network element version information, a data type supported by a network management system, or a coding mode supported by the network management system. The reported data is converted based on the data description information, where reported data obtained through conversion meets a virtual network function event streaming (VES) specification. A VES event is sent, where the VES event includes the reported data obtained through conversion.

Abstract: A mobile edge computing method and apparatus are provided. The method which is implemented by a mobile edge computing (MEC) management network element includes: receiving an MEC virtualization resource request sent by a control plane of a target radio access network (RAN), wherein the control plane belongs to the target RAN to which user equipment (UE) is handed over, and the MEC virtualization resource request includes an MEC computing resource requirement of the UE; creating, based on the MEC virtualization resource request, a new virtual machine (VM) on an MEC server for the UE, wherein the new VM is used on the target RAN side after the handover; and sending first information of the new VM to the control plane, wherein the first information includes an ID of the new VM. According to the application, the efficiency of usage of resources during a handover of UE is significantly improved.

Abstract: In a policy conflict management method, a first controller receives first policy information that comprises a first policy configured by a core network for UE. The first controller detects that a policy conflict occurs between the first policy information and second policy information, where the second policy information includes a second policy configured by a second controller for the UE, or a first decision result obtained after the first controller makes a policy decision according to the second policy. The first controller makes a policy decision according to the first policy and the second policy to obtain a second decision result. The first controller then sends the second decision result to a radio access network RAN network element for execution.

Abstract: A buffer control method, a network element, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a network element, a flow table message from a controller, where the flow table message includes buffer information of a data packet matching a flow table; processing, by the network element, a buffer of the data packet based on the buffer information, and sending a flow table response message to the controller. In the method, the network element can save, based on a corresponding saving manner, at least one data packet matching the flow table to the buffer corresponding to the flow table. Thus a data flow granularity-based buffer processing manner can be supported in an OpenFlow protocol, and a data buffering requirement of a mobile network can be met.

Abstract: Embodiments provide an aggregate rate control method, a device, and a system. A gateway switch receives a flow entry and a link table from a software-defined networking (SDN) controller. The flow entry includes at least a match field and a flow-entry instruction, and the link table includes at least a packet processing operation. The gateway switch parses to obtain header information of a received target data packet, and matches the header information with the match field in the flow entry. When the header information matches the match field in the flow entry, a link instruction is executed in the flow-entry instruction in the flow entry. The packet processing operation in the link table is performed, and the packet processing operation is used to discard or buffer the target data packet when a bit rate of an aggregate service flow is greater than a specified maximum aggregate rate.
